Great restaurant, the food is very good. The grilled salmon is was wonderful. The place has oriented kids dishes. it’s definitely good option for lunch in MARKEN.

We only got coffee and cakes. The food was really good, I recommend the apple pie. we got a glimpse of other dishes which looked great as well. The view is exquisite on a nice day. You also get a small discount if you go by the ferry from Volendam.

Nice fish restaurant. Interesting and delicious French and Italian Coffeesn and Jopen beers.

Excellent choice , we left about group and tasted the local cuisine.

The restaurant is located in a small wonderful village/island, with a great view on the water. The staff welcomed us very warmly and they extremely polite, although we can't speak Dutch.
The food was simply amazing, we had the ham sandwich and the fish and chips, both were great!
I would never forget to speak about their amazing desserts, both the chocolate cake and the apple pie were phenomenal.
I would of course recommend this place.

Really cute place for a date, meeting with friends or little family's party. Delightful food, very nice and quickly stuff, beautiful old building with cozy design. I extremely recommend this place! I want to note that the service was lightning fast. Coffee was served in less than a minute, hot dishes did not have to wait.

Place with terrace and view to the harbor, prices are decent, stuff is super friendly, fish plate has all local fish, super tasty. Fish soup has only broth, but it is good with rich flavor, perfect if you want to get warm.

Went during off-season, had haddock and chips. Waiters were more attentive than the usual Dutch custom. Food was plenty, and good. So was the beer. Way and above what I expected at this time of the year! Decoration isn’t bad either. Right next to boat dropoff, and you get a minor discount with a return ticket. Best choice if you came here by boat.

I suggest you visiting the village of Marken with its traditional wooden houses, narrow streets with bridges and beautiful canals. It is very close to Amsterdam with easy access by public transport. In the harbor enjoy traditional food in this beautiful, cozy restaurant with friendly service. I recommend the fish soup!

Excellent view right on Marken marina, you can see people getting on and off boat cruises while sitting there, not annoying though. Food was more than great and very carefully prepared. Decoration from the inside was amazing and very well designed. Staff are always smiling and happy to explain whats on the menu. The best place to have your resting time and a bite while in Marken.

Tasty food in a beautiful traditional Marken house. We had the mussels and fish soup, both of which were fresh and generous. The staff were also super friendly. It's a bit pricey but that's to be expected in a touristic area.

Nice food and seating area inside, was very charming. Only the tomato soup was too acidic, could be better balanced.

I had the pan fired sole with french fries, the fish was fresh and tasted good, but the fries were absolutely amazing! Crunchy on the outside, but soft and fluffy on the inside! I don't know if it had something to do with its odd shape, but whatever, just do yourself a favor and order some. Basically a place with good food with a nice view, what more can you ask for on a sunny afternoon?

I went here with my family for lunch. We bought combination tickets at the Volendam-Marken Express (Ferry) and the lunch was included. We got tomato soup, bread with kroket and bread with old cheese. It was very nice. I don't know if you can also order this without the combination tickets but I'd try! And make a reservation and try to sit downstairs it's nicer there.

Great food, great location. Very picturesque and traditional Dutch village. Try the table bbq, it's a lot of fun and really delicious. Good whine selection too. Friendly staff who speak a variety of languages for you touristy folk out there.
