Charming little spot! This petite restaurant and café stole my heart with its delightful outdoor area overlooking a quaint river. Nature's your dining companion, and the bike ride here on sunny days is a pure joy. Can't resist returning for those tiny breaks that feel like magic! 🌿🚴‍♂

A beautiful little cafe, it's a perfect distance for a half day round trip from Amsterdam. The scenery is beautiful, and they serve a great ham kaas tosti.

Delicious food, the service was perfect. Super cozy place and lovely! The apple tart and the smoked salmon were amazing! The flavors, the freshness 😍 cannot ask for more! Thanks ☺ I’ve enjoyed a lot to be here. I’ll back in my next visit in Netherlands 🇳🇱

Lovely little spot to recharge you battery the food is very nice the coffee is good and it’s in a little village near Amsterdam north. I definitely recommend going there

Stopped here for a bit during a bike ride. Fantastic little gem. The family who runs this place is lovely. Their cake smells so good but unfortunately I’m already full and didn’t want to have something heavy as I still have a good distance to go on my bike. I’ll defo try to return on my way back to try their food!

Above expectations taking in consideration the remote location in Holysloot, Netherlands 🇳🇱. Ordered coffee, a beer and an apple pie, everything was just right and delicious and the service was very fast. The restaurant is located in a typical rural Dutch house and I found that to be very interesting as well. Would recommend a stop or visit, seems a popular location for a weekend.

Just outside of Amsterdam and you get a fantastic rural experience. Great comfort food, but mostly a fantastic location

Best and only cafe/restaurant in Holysloot. The village is super cute and not very crowded. Definitely not the crowds you see at Marken. This cafe is excellent. The toasties and apple pies were great. We also had few beers and jus d'orange. Most people were sitting outside, enjoying the view and the barely warm weather. Service was super fast, which was a surprise. You can park your bikes and charge your ebike.

If you do only one thing in Amsterdam you ride a bike to this restaurant and eat their Apple Pie. Your life will be complete!

I love this place. Delicious, well prepared menu with a good blend of classic dishes & some unusual twists to be found. Such a cute setting too. Service is always friendly but sometimes very slow & the inexperience of the wait staff really shows in their inefficiency. Given that, it's still a great venue that I'd highly recommend.

We turned up on a Thursday night without a booking. The place was very busy but they found a little table for 2. We asked to see the menu but was told that the Thursday special was beef with ham & chicory and potato & that was the only option. So we went for two of them & we were not disappointed at all. Everything cooked to perfection & tasted amazing. For desert we shared the sticky toffee cake & again it was divine.
The service was spot on & I would definitely come back again if I was in the area.

Lovely place in Dutch countryside. Boat rentals nearby. Food very well presented. Reasonable prices. Children playground and parking nearby. A good family outing.

Excellent cakes, good coffee and tea selection. They have decaf and oatmilk.
My favourite is the chocolate truffle cake - white & dark chocolate mousse on a very chocolatey base. Delicious! Service can be slow when it's crowded in good weather.
