Titi Lake

Titi Lake is beautiful Lake at Kunjo Village in Lower Mustang. One of thesidetrejs from Lete/Kalopani village with 1.30 hours walking. Or you can reach with your vehicles like bikes or jeeps. You can see mountains from there. There are many different types of ducks on the lake and best place to see bird watching. Highly recommended to visit.

I hope tourism in this area boosts up.
Since 2015, Nepali film industry has played a big role in promoting tourism in Mustang.
This lake is one of the holy lakes from where we can see mesmerizing view of Mt.Dhawalagiri and some parts of Mt.Nilgiri and Annapurna II.
As the lake being very bushy, it is considered the only lake in Nepal where birds/ducks like Mallards and common mooren breed.
This place is protected under Annapurna Conservation Area Project(ACAP).

Have been there a few times, once we pitched our tents on the titi lake.
The view is heavenly. Annapurna ranges all around. It can get really cold in the night. But on a moonless night the stars are a treat to watch.
There are lots of these thorny shrubs. They look nice but it is best to avoid them.
The trek is fairly easy. This is nepal at its best.

ニルギリから西に延びる大きな尾根のコルを林道が越える峠の際にあるので、西側にはダウラギリＩ峰からトゥクチェピークの大迫力展望が、東側には深い谷越にニルギリとアンナプルナの峰々の眺望が、5,000ｍの高度差を持って迫って来る。両方向とも谷越しの眺望なので、ひときわ高さを感じられる。

ジョムソン街道からジープで30分ほどで寒村ティティ村とその東の美しい湖ティティ湖に到達でき、ほとんど歩かずにジョムソン街道随一の大展望が眺められる、現地ガイドさんイチオシの本当の穴場。

西のダウラギリが順光線で見られる午前中、特に、雲が湧きにくい早い時間帯がお勧め。風が弱ければ、湖面に映る逆さダウラギリも見事。

2011年前後は、堰が壊れて、小さな池になっていた時期もあったようだが、2018年3月は乾季の終わりにも拘わらず満水で、水鳥も棲む。

日本人の宿泊が多いタサンビレッジから訪れるのに、ショコン湖が良いかティティ湖が良いかと言えば、両方を体感した者としては、ティティ湖に軍配を挙げたい。水面が広く、東西にヒマラヤの峰々を眺められる。車で間近まで行けて、周辺放牧地での眺望ハイキングも楽しい。
