Shree Bindhyabasini Temple

This is the temple of goddess Bindhyabasini along with it contains temples of Shiva, Saraswati, Hanuman and Ganesh.
The temple is famous in the local community along with Hindu community from neighbouring countries.
There is a lift and a staircase to visit this temple as it is located on a small hill.
The lift is chargeable (70NPR).
Shoes are to be kept in the dedicated shoe area which is located while climbing the stairs.

Shree Bindhyabasini Temple is a good place visit in Pokhra. It is a temple of Devi Bhagawati who is a incarnation of Devi Kali. There is also a temple of Lord Shiva and Lord Rama. To go to the temple on need to climb about 50 staircase . Lift fecility is also available for senior citizen which cost 50 nepalise rupees. For age above 70 years no fees is required for lift fecility. For Indian there is no entry fees for entering the temple . For foreigner including SAARC country entry fees is 100 nepalise rupees. To enter the temple one need to be bare foot. There is a place where one can keep his or her shoes without any management fees. For worshipping the Devi Bindhyabasini one has stand in the queue which took him or her about 30 minutes to go to infront of the Lord Bindhyabasini. No one can take photo of the Devi Bindhyabasini.

Since it was sunday, first day of maha shivrathri on 15th october it was crowded and heavy rush with waiting period exceeding an hour

Some rituals and possessions by kids dressed up as hindu devi devthas
Saw the high spiritual ground of Nepali people there
