Cheese Factory at Chordung is located at an altitude of 2633 meters. It took around 3 hour to reach there from jiri valley. we have to pass through Forest, covered with rhododendron trees, hiking track is not so difficult, we can easily climb hill, no shop's at top and no drinking water at top/on way. so bring sufficient food n water. full view of jiri valley can be seen from top. staff of cheese factory are so helpful n friendly they explained details about history, challenge, demand of cheese, cheese processing, how instruments work. hiking to chordung was fruitful. we enjoyed our hiking.

This cheese factory was established in 2028 and this factory was first established by swiss government.Since the time of its establishment factory is providing good quality cheese and cheese of this place is even famous in kathmandu also.You can reach this place on short 1 hour hiking from Lincoln bazar,Jiri or via road.Also you can see whole jiri from this place and enjoy nature also and you can also enjoy the Rhododendron forest while reaching this place.
