Amazing bakery with a Beautiful view. The coffee and cakes are of the highest quality and the veg. Burger with yak cheese is incredible! If you do the wonderful Langtan Trek you are in for a real treat when you reach Kyanjin Gompa with amazing mountains and Dorje Bakery Cafe & Coffee Center.

It was worth 5 days walk for the kitchen garden fresh spaghetti, the Himalayan arabica coffee and the exotic cakes. Mr Lakpa - we miss you and we miss the gompa at the edge of the world. This cafe was the trek highlight for my 11 year old son. See you again!

We kept coming back for the great coffee, hot chocolate, and delicious cakes.
Their Dorje coffee (with rum and Yak cream) is divine, and the apple pie... well, try, and you'll understand.
The owner is super friendly and knowledgeable, an ex-mountain guide.

Dorje Bakery and Café is the best in town. The cakes and Café creations are delicious and the owner and his Family are the best.

Best place to rest after a trek. The waiter, Tsering, is amazing and you can really tell he is also a guide, because he knows so many curiosities about Nepal. And there are also very interesting books to check in the place.

He literally bakes everything here. Helpful to everyone in need, he is the funniest man. He welcomes people with open arms, his cozy cafe is where everyone gathers and we did the same.

Dorje Bakery and it’s owner are awesome. Delicious food to keep you sane at high altitude. The bread, cakes, sandwiches, cinnamon rolls, espresso! We tried it all. Not to mention the wonderful company and friendships formed here.

Lhakpa’s bakery is amazing! Great coffee, apple pie, cakes and sandwiches and a wonderful place to be after trekking to Kyanjin Gompa. Lhakpa is warm and friendly, knowledgeable and connected with the community. It is well worth spending time with him to learn about Langtang and he is also able to help with anything you may need. He arranged our trek with incredible guides and porters and even made a unique Langtang birthday experience in the bakery with apple cake and drinks. We hope we can return one day🙏

Best place I have ever seen in my life, workers are so nice. Coffee, cake, burger… are so good. If you go to kyanjin you need to try this bakery.

Don't miss this place! One of the original bakeries on the mountain and an absolute wealth of knowledge. One of the best chocolate cakes I've EVER had -if you're going to Nepal, put Langtang on your trekking itinerary and while you're there, you have to treat yourself.

Best chocolate cake and best coffee in mountain. Very interesting man Mr. Lhakpa, he is collection of information about Langtang valley and history. We love documentary show that was shown in bakery about Langtang earthquake 2015. That was lovely. Food and sandwich is mind-blowing. All the best and hope 2022 will be good year for you. We ate a lot of good food on this tea house trek in Langtang valley, but this bakery would have to be the best. The apple pie was the best I have ever had anywhere. The next day we had tuna sandwiches on fresh, fluffy bread rolls. We took some crunchy choc chip cookies for the road too.
Lhakpa is not only a great baker, but a great guy that has lots of local knowledge and is always helping local people as well as trekkers

A lovely bakery! Great coffee and home made cakes, sandwiches that can be made to take away for lunch on hikes and a fun atmosphere. Would recommend a visit

Was at Langtang, last month for my climate change related project. During, met this awesome guy, the owner of this bakery. The paramount taste above 3900 meters, sky and ground meets here with taste. Being here is a privilege, huge crowd of foreigners can be seen here anytime. I just loved this place, owner is trying to make this place a plastic ban place, hats off to his effort. May locals and foreigners be able to solve the plastic problem of Langtang.

Lhakpa is a great dude. Will always make sure to stop by if I’m in the neighborhood. Great service, great people, you’d be crazy to not stop!
