Balay ng Itay

I’ve stayed in many hotels and resorts in different countries and by far balay ng itay is easily in my top 5. The staff were so friendly and very accommodating. The atmosphere was so serene! Food was so fresh and amazing. This is a hidden gem and an off the beaten path to unwind, enjoy nature, experience Filipino food at its best.

The staff are very accomodating, the room that we stayed at was really nice the bathroom was clean with a shower and hot water, they also have a hygenic spray which is a plus for me.
The food is even great, we got to try their overloaded pizza and let me tell you it is really overloaded with toppings and pizza bread that they use is just right (not too thick). The grilled squid that I ordered was fresh. Chicken fingers were deliciously cooked, and the sisig was one of the best I had tried.
Take note that their servings are good for sharing, and just to be sure ask the server about the portions because when we ordered we were surprised to get a big portion of serving and we had a lot of left overs😅, you also can't take foods to the rooms.
If you want to have a relaxing stay, quiet atmosphere, or if you would need to bring your work with you(they have WiFi), then this place is for you.
I am not sure about the other network providers, the last time I was there Globe does not have coverage so plan ahead, but then again they do have Free WiFi.

We were gonna stay at a hotel here in Manila to celebrate our daughter's bday but found Balay ng Itay. Best decision we made! It's really stunning with super bait and generous na owners and staff too - they are all attentive, hospitable, and accommodating, they made our stay extra memorable because it felt like we were home. Every spot is so beautiful and snap-perfect. The "Filipino Modern" ambiance was top-notch, that's one of our favorite highlights! The food was not only delicious but also diverse, from Filipino breakfast to fresh seafood, pasta, and pizza, shakes that our children really enjoyed. It was a delightful meal every time we ate.

This is definitely a resort you'll want to return to time and again. Totally worth the drive, it was actually only 4 hours from Metro Manila. Maraming salamat po Balay ng Itay family!

A long drive from Metro Manila so better to stay for at least 2 nights. The resort facilities are of good quality. The beds are comfortable. I love the furniture especially the hammocks and sitting area. They have kubos or cottages for eating. They also have a cafe so you can order drinks (coffee, smoothies, halo-halo) and they will serve it wherever you are. The resort has access to the sea through the “sugba” or estuary. This place is good for big groups (companies or barkadas) or families. The staff are also approachable.

LITERALLY a very well spent weekend. The room was clean and so relaxing and the room service was always on time. Very accomodating Love it 😍

They have a beautiful place. Beyond aesthetics, the rooms, facilities are very clean and well maintained. Not to mention, everybody there is very friendly, knowledgeable about their products and services. We even got a free bubbly drink which is overly generous of them. Highly recommended! Would like to be back for sure.

The resort was so classy and detailed the design, the ammenities was so lit. You have your own privacy of your group. They have also home cook food and island hopping was the best.
