This guest house is located at the most beautiful place of the Town and atmosphere is unmatched. I am really crazy to stay there.

ایک بہت ہی دلفریب اور اپسرا سے مقام پر موجود یہ سرکاری ریسٹ ہاؤس شام کو پریوں کے دیس میں جیسے لے جاتا ہے۔ ہر طرف سرسبز باغات میں گھرا یہ سرکاری ریسٹ ہاؤس بہت عمدہ جگہ ہے۔

This is Zila (District) Council Rest House. Room rent is 2000 per night for government servants/ and 4000 for others.
A very serene place. Away from hustle around lake. But gives a good lake view from the terrace. Is on the feet of a small hill, with a constructed trek to walk to the top.
The staff is like Government rest house'. They are courteous and polite. Would do a slightly above average quality cooking for you, on order and payment.
Rooms are fine. But bedding may be out of your taste depending on your standard of hygiene. So carrying your own sheets would be in order.

The location is great buy the interior is not upto the mark. It has guestrooms for guests along with dining facilities. The views in the surrounding are amazing. The exterior and lawns are very well maintained. It has a good hiking trail to go up to darbar on top of the mountain. The access from motor way is very good/easy

Beautiful building of rest house is situated near kallar kahar lake on a higher spot on rest house road with a beautiful look like a white palace on a green mountain and with beautiful lawn , ｔａｒａｃｅ and beautiful guest room as shown in thi picture having a commomn area and dining room with a nice view of orchards of loquat. Before evening u can see a lot of peacocks flying downwards from the top of mountain and landing on the trees. The view of lake is so mesmerizing. The rest house have annexe that is called Veera Lodge. The area is so peaceful and close to nature that any one can fall in love with it. You can book rooms by contacting district government Chakwal that can be a little bit difficult😥. Rooms are not well maintained but 1 room is perfectly managed for VIPs.
It is suggested that u stay there for few hours after noon and have tea there and leave after evening. There are other rest houses near lake and hotels and a museum.A historical spot known as Takhat e Babri is close to it.
