Bara Gali Summer Camp, University of Peshawar

It's a beautiful and calm place in natural surroundings--an ideal place for nature lovers. A couple of nice tracks originate from here: One of them leads you to a nearby hilltop while the other lands you in the nearby town of Kalabagh. One can only get accommodation here through the University of Peshawar.

Amazing place.. Beautiful cottages (need tidying up though) , the weather was magical. One of the best places to stay if possible.

Each year the Independence Day is celebrated with traditional pomp and show. The whole campus is illuminated at night. Hundreds of men, women and children participate in the various events. Educational activities are a matter of routine at Bara Gali during the summer vacations, giving the University of Peshawar the unique edge that its academic activities do not stop during the summer vacations.

I just went there for a sudden. But I feel in love with this place. The peace and there hospitality and cleanness of place. If u are in love with true nature you must go and visit the place. Place totally hidden in pine trees

More exciting for hiking lovers that there is a track which connect the kalabagh airbase to the summer camp hiking especially in morning is a mean of catharsis....

The campus is located at a really peaceful point. The route from nathiagali Road to campus I'd covered with dense forests, ideal for vacation away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Best place for School,College,Universty tour.
More than 300 students beds arrangement.
And it is located in high mountains.
It was great experience visiting this place.

There was a bit problem of water but it was solved later on.

Another poaitive thing was that there was also a mosque for prayers.

There was a combination of common rooms and normal rooms. A Common room contained 24 beds while normal rooms contained 4 - 5 beds.

Though there were no shops nearby which was not a positive fact.

One of the best and peaceful place in the galyat. The environment is so calm and relaxing. The view is mesmerising.

The area alongside the road is beautiful with full of cedar, deodar jungle and also the sight of leopards, the weather is cool and mesmerizing.

If you want to go with your family for some relaxing time. This is the best place just in the heart of nature.

Located at the top of Bara Gali (altitude of 8000 ft above the sea level), the summer camp of University of Peshawar is a heaven on earth. The design of the cottages/ homes along with color add beauty the lush greens landscape.
The Campus is the center of academic and research activities particularly during the summer for International and National seminars, conferences, symposia, workshops and training courses. Besides educational activities, the Campus offers limited accommodation facilities to the families of the employees of the University of Peshawar for 07 days during summer vocations. Every year, the Independence Day of Pakistan is celebrated with traditional pomp and show: the whole campus glows with lights and colors, with hundreds of men, women and children participating in various fun activities.

Beautiful place having a very pleasant environment and has a very nice community

It is a summer campus of University of Peshawar. UoP uses it for activities in summer. From excursions to many informative seminars. Students and faculty even from other institutions too visit it.
It is beautiful and calm. But there need to some good amount of maintenance.
