Fonte Do Vale

Not been in this bar and restaurant for a couple of years but the food and service were excellent. We had pork medallions with mushrooms and asparagus which was very tasty, well presented and excellent value. We had plenty of great value and delicious red wine so will definitely be back very soon.

My husband and I went for our anniversary dinner and as always, the food was just amazing. Our meat is always perfectly cooked, the service is very attentive and the prices are adequat. Definitely an establishment, we will continue frequenting.

Visited with a group of 12 fellow hikers post- hike for lunch. A really professional staff delivered good food & drink at reasonable prices, promptly and with patience.

We had a lovely evening at Fonte Do Vale. We both had the bacon and egg hamburger with fries and found the hamburgers and fries very tasty. We also had a litre of house wine and olives. The total was less than €35. Highly recommended.

Lovely place to sit out and enjoy a meal. Great sangria too & our dog was welcome on the outside terrace. V nice indeed.

This place is a child-friendly gem. Friendly staff and very good prices for the area.

Meat and fish dishes were superbly cooked, and served surprisingly quick for such good quality.

We went back multiple times on our holiday and will definitely return next time we're in the area.

Great food and service.

Arrived after food had stopped being served but when staff realised we had come straight from airport they very kindly offered to cook something for us. We just had bread, cold meat and cheese along with drinks as we were just pleased to have food and not put the kitchen staff to too much trouble. Thank you Fonte Do Vale.

Excellent burger and my wife had the steak which looked just as delicious- great place to eat, friendly and helpful staff.

Varied menu for food and excellent selection of wines and beers but what makes this establishment stand out is the service.

We have been many times of the day and in the evening and we are always made to feel welcome and every member of staff is helpful, friendly and polite. It is always enjoyable visiting Fonte Do Vale.

Our local restaurant…so nice to be able to walk 8 minutes and enjoy a delicious sea bream and sea bass. Service was excellent, and the food came quickly and was delicious, as always.

Our first meal in the area and pleased to report it didn't disappoint. The food was good at reasonable prices and the staff were attentive and friendly.
