Monte-Bougainvillea

We spent a wonderful week at Monte-Bougainvillea. We rented 2 apartments which are fully equipped, took all our meals on the terrace and enjoyed the pool. Thanks to the car at our disposal, we could travel to the beaches on the South and visit Algarve. There are plenty of supermarket 15 min. away and the area is quiet and sunny. Perfect place to stay for 2 or for a family. You can even rent communicating apartments if needed.
I would recommend this place without hesitation.

We had a wonderful 12 days in Monte Bougainvillea in the Algarve.
The originality there was stunning. The owners are wonderful people that really care for their guests. The apartments are exceptionally well equipped. We could find no fault there. The bed was very comfortable. The terrace was lovely. The pool, the car, the pickup and drop off were all in the high 5 star level. Just so you know we are ging back in 2023 in the months of February and march, so if you want to check my reference stay there as well.
I can really recommend this holiday place, but please do not tell to many people.....;-)

Located on top of a hill with beautiful distant views, a beautiful house nestled inside a beautiful garden. A nice pool is nice hidden in peaceful green corner.
The apartment - Lirios - is spacious, the kitchen is very well appointed , the bed is very comfortable and the bathrooms are modern.
The owners, Sylvie and JC, are delightful and generous with their time, yet discreet. They are always there with a friendly word or some good advice for restaurants or beaches.
A peaceful relaxing to spend a few or much more.

They have 5 apartments. Pick-up and return from/to the Faro airport is included as well as a car. So no worries for anything. just enjoy.

A truly beautiful place and perfect if you want real peace. Located with panoramic views across the hills.Fantastic quinta and pool maintained to a very high standard, clean, large and spacious. Welcoming and helpful hosts( Sylvie and J-C). The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Car is included which was an advantage for us to gain time.We will return for sure! Highly recommended

Situated on top of a beautiful valley overlooking Olhão and Faro this vacation heaven nest is just perfect. The rooms are large by any standard, really well equipped, with plenty of amenities (open bar, pool, parking, rent a car, airport pickup, you name it, there's even a bbq ready to be used in each apartment's outdoor patio.

The residence/hotel is almost central in the Algarve region, everything is 20-30 minuutes away. It's super calm and comfortable. Im coming back here OFTEN now i discovered it! The region is superb for visiting, water sports, biking, driving, surfing (about 90 minutes away) and the food is just delicious all around.

What a wonderful and quiet little villa this is. Located about 20 minutes outskirts of Faro but with full amenities, beautiful grounds, and a wonderful swimming pool. Highly recommend and if you stay is for 7+ days your reservation includes a rental car at no extra charge.

I love everything about Monte-Bougainvillea. It's a beautiful, relaxed setting. Both apartments we have stayed in were well equipped and very clean. Sylvie & JC are perfect hosts. They are available for any questions, but let you get on and you will see them about during the day. Pool is very clean and Car is brilliant. Local cafe is friendly and relaxing. Lovely lovely place. Everything is exactly where you need it and Sylvie and J.C. are wonderful and caring hosts. Perfect with or without kids for experiencing the real rural Algarve.

No photo can make this place justice. We have had a lovely week in the Lirios apartment. All of the thoughtful details have made our experience truly great and made us feel honoured to be your guests. The peaceful ambiance was just what we needed. Just spent 9 fabulous days at Monte Bougainvilla !!! The goal was a real golfing extravaganza and it turned out to be much more!!! we did golf (9 different courses in 9 days.... still over 30 to go... next time😬) but it was so much more!!! Sylvie and JC beyond being wonderful hosts,and have hit the nail on the head with their offering: you’re picked up from the airport and chamfered to house where the appartement is !!! it’s ully functional, very comfortable high end beds, spotless, and a fully equipped kitchen ( Nespresso machine and a super citrus press for the delicious oranges you’re welcomed with) it also comes with a little car free of charge besides the gas to get around in!!!! one less hassle!! the location is out of the huddle of the big towns but within a 10 minute drive... none of the golfs we played were more than 30 minutes away...and just in case you forgot to stop for groceries, they have an honesty refrigerator and freezer with pizzas and beers and soft drinks.... I’m definitely going back soon!!!!

Perfect place for family or friends. We had an amazing experience. With a 5 year old girl and a 4 month baby, we needed a quiet place, clean, surrounded by nature and good pool. This is the place. The owners are amazing and we feel the love they put in here. We will come back, and we recomend.

We had a great time with the hosts! The apartment was lovely and extremely well equipped with even the more obscure household articles. Great value for money as well! Will definitely return!

Quiet and peaceful villa with lovely sheltered pool. Our apartment was well equipped and the hosts wonderfully welcoming and accommodating, we could not have asked for more.

I stayed in this place with my family, really nice owners and the view is wonderful! I really like to stay there and relax some days.

Appartement parfait, confortable, propre, bien équipé et bien situé pour visiter l'Algarve. Sylvie et J.C. sont des hôtes chaleureux, disponibles et en même temps discrets quand il le faut. Nous y sommes restés plus de 3 semaines et si possible nous y retournerons avec plaisir. Après nos visites , en fin de journée, se détendre au bord de la piscine ou sur notre terrasse c'était le bonheur! Nous recommandons sans hésitation!

Tout simplement parfait! Appartement confortable, propre, bien équipé. Ils ont aussi une panoplie de jeux pour amuser les enfants. Et avec une voiture, il est très facile de visiter l'Algarve. Sylvie et J.C. sont des hôtes définitivement bienveillants. Nous recommandons sans hésitation!

De retour d'une semaine passée en Algarve chez sylvie et JC, et je confirme tout ce qui est dit à leur sujet, ce sont des hôtes adorables, qui ont le sens du service, ils sont de très bon conseil et ils disposent d'une maison magnifique. tout est réuni pour vous faire passer un séjour incroyable. je recommande vivement et envisage même d'y retourner.
