Great restaurant! Sopa da pedra was amazing. Service was very quick, food was ready very soon and it was delicious. Portions are large and the price is very fair. Be sure to get there early, as they are always very busy.

Taste experience, normally you have to wait for a table but it worthwhile, food is amazingly good, nice service and good price!

Lovely food.

Pinheiro is a fantastic restaurant of traditional Portuguese food! A great selection of meat and fish dishes are available as well as "prato do dia", always freshly prepared in the kitchen that can be seen as you pass by to reach your table. It is exceptionally busy, so arrive early or be prepared to wait!
The environment is frenetic, with waiters rushing back and forth, Portuguese people chatting happily and loudly, the smell of roast meat and fish in the air!
Lovely place for a great meal with family and friends. Good value for money, and if you ask for it or bring your own box, you can take leftovers home!

Ok, so we walked past two fully booked restaurants only to come across this little gem. At first, with only one table being occupied, we though like most would, let’s give this a miss, instead we checked online reviews and boy, are we glad we did! My wife and I ordered the grilled salmon and our two children had half a chicken between them. All meals were fit for a king and the children only managed half of their half a chicken. For drinks, we started with a large beer, water, and two iced teas, we also had a bottle of the ’ on offer’ Christmas red.
We finished with two coffees, oh, did I mention the bread and olives to start?
The total cost for all of this, €27!

Beat restaurant iv been to in the south of Portugal highly recommend to any tourist it’s absolutely amazing only downfall is the cue the place is so good youll have to cue outside for ages 🤦🏽‍♂😂

This is a good restaurant with the traditional stone soup in the menu. You should definetly try it.

Excellent portuguese cuisine experience. Sopa da pedra is a must have if you visit Almeirim, and this restaurant offers the best one around. Staff were also very nice.

Really good and tasty food. Friendly and efficient staff. Long wait to get seated. Better book on a saturday lunch.

As always, quality of product price and service was excellent. Restaurant is prepared for Covid19 prevention, all chairs and tables are desinfected, even menus!
