Casa da Obrinha

Fantastic accommodation in the surroundings of Geres - Peneda national park, owned and run by the most gracious, generous, and kind hostess ever.
The rooms are very clean and very well appointed and the house (which has three rooms) has a communal kitchen that is very well equipped. Breakfast is outstanding as the owner (Teresinha) leaves plenty of food in the fridge for each room that you can prepare yourself any time in the morning. Then there's always fresh fruit available and I mean really fresh!.
Teresinha knows the area very very well and she gave us very good recommendations of places to visit, restaurants and also of winemakers to visit as we are interested in wine tourism. Thank you Teresinha!

We stayed at Casa da Obrinha with a group of friends as we wanted to discover the Geres national park.

The accommodation itself was very comfortable, clean, and spacious.

Casa da Obrinha is in a perfect location to enjoy both the national park but also the nearby towns that lie around it.

Teresinha, our host, and her wonderful family hosted us incredibly well. She came by every day, bringing fresh bread, pastries, fresh fruits from her own garden, eggs, cold-cuts, and much much more.

The place was shining clean when we arrived, and Teresinha made sure that it stayed that way - every day.

Teresinha and her family helped us with everything we needed during our stay, giving us local recommendations, helping us out with some travel-related problems, and invited us to their home, making us feel like family.

Probably the best stay ever, don't hesitate.

A Teresinha é muito simpática, acessível e prestável. Tem muita atenção ao detalhe no serviço que proporciona. Todo o espaço está impecavelmente limpo e arrumado. Tivémos um casamento no mosteiro que fica a 2 min. a pé do alojamento. Por isso a localização não podia ser melhor.
A nossa experiência foi extremamente positiva e recomendamos totalmente.

Je recommande ce B&B charmant, géré par Teresinha, une personne très sympathique, généreuse et accueillante, qui parle français et anglais (et sans doute plus encore).
Excellent rapport qualité / prix : des petits pains et des croissants sont livrés le matin, il y avait du gateau fait maison et délicieux, des fruits frais, du fromage du jambon et même un appareil à croque monsieur (et nous en avons profité !) De plus, la salle de bain était spacieuse, le lit était confortable, il y avait des volets occultants, et le tout était propre comme un sifflet !
Le village avec son monastère est sublime, les habitants accueillants, et la route depuis Porto est facile à faire et très jolie. Vaut le détour.
Une très bonne expérience et de bonnes vacances.
