Excellent, excellent meal. Traditional, well made food. I had the best bacalhau à brás I have ever had and I order it a lot. Also the portions were so large that I could not finish my portion, despite how delicious it was.
The starters were also delicious, as recommended by the waiter.

We had a great lunch.I find the reataurant in the michelin guide.In a road trip it is really nice to have home kind of cooking.I was not feeling well ,I would şike to order a soup but the the dish I choose was a soup alike dish,so I didnt have the soup.wehD cheese butter olives and the bread basket,as an entree we ordered shrimps,II had the groupper pasta with shrimps and veg.It was amasing but it was almost for two ppl the waitress which didnt mention,my partner has duck magret made out of full breast also didnt mention.The food was delicious but it was way too muuch for two of us.We felt sorry that we couldnt finish it up.My partner forced him self to finish.In the and we ask for truffles and the finish was heavenly.we recomend the place but check the portions for sure

Best "Sopa da Pedra" that I have ever had and I had tried a lot. Dishes were excellent.
Portions are huge and therefore ask ahead in case you might want to share.
Service is commendable. Space is limited so you will need to call ahead.

There are not enough words to praise this restaurant. I got married this summer and I was looking for a restaurant for a small group celebration (we were 20 people). I was suggested CISCO, which I didn't know, so I read some reviews and got in touch with the owners. The chef and his wife, Alexandre and Mariana, were absolutely fantastic from the start! I didn't have everything figured out about how I wanted the lunch to be, so even though they had never hosted a wedding before, they made suggestions for the menu, for the setting of the room and for the decorations. This was of great help, because I was not in the country and wasn't going to be until the day of the ceremony, so I had to trust that everything was going to work, but from the very first moment I felt I was in good hands.
When the day came, I could not have asked for anything more. We had the restaurant to ourselves and the entire team looking out for our needs. I think they were a bit nervous when we arrived, because it was their first wedding, but it was amazing to see that a few minutes later, they did all the adjustments they needed and were absolutely in gear! The room was decorated with flower arrangements and very delicate details, such as porcelain dolls that represented the bride and groom. There were no exaggerations, it was beautiful, elegant and very tasteful. The food was SUPERB! We had several courses, and I still cannot decide which one I liked best. The appetisers were fantastic, the fish courses, one of which is a soup, the meat, the deserts... all were an absolute delight to the palate. The wines that were served with each course were also a match made in heaven. And of course... the cake! It may have looked simple but it was exactly what I wanted. And what mattered most... it was absolutely delicious! Even though it was the end of the meal and we were all full, we could not resist it! Our guest were also marvelled at everything and kept praising the choice of restaurant and menu.
Having my wedding lunch at CISCO was, without a doubt, the best choice for such an important day. They could not have made that day any better. They were the perfect hosts! Before the day they help me make the decisions and on the day they took care of everything. Thank you so much!!
This review does not focus solely on the food, because CISCO is more than that! It's a talented team, with great taste, which serves exquisite food! Go to CISCO and you are sure to have an extraordinary experience!

Depois de tanto dizerem bem, lá fui finalmente. E não é que é mesmo verdade....se não foi o melhor cozido á portuguesa que comi, tá provavelmente nos 3 melhores. Ambiente, serviço e vinhos tudo excelente.

Restaurante incrível com uma comida do outro mundo.
Experimentamos grande parte da carta, Bife Tártaro - ótimo sabor e tempero - Magret de Pato - feita no ponto ideal e com uma cebola com imenso sabor por cima - Filetes de Peixe Galo - acompanhados por um arroz de grelos e maionese muito boas - Rabo de boi - que quase se desfazia no tacho - Iscas à Portuguesa - muito fininhas e com um leve sabor a mostarda e, claro, a sopa da Pedra também cheia de sabor. Acabamos com, talvez, o melhor prato de todos, arroz de vitela que estava INCRÍVEL e de chorar por mais!
Depois ainda conseguimos experimentar parte das sobremesas que estavam também elas ótimas - destaco o Leite Creme e o Bolo de Chocolate.
Uma nota também para o serviço, muito rápido e com imensa simpatia!

Comida deliciosa, ambiente aconchegante e atendimento excelente! Pedimos o bacalhau à bras que estava delicioso! Também o magret de pato e as bochechas de porco estavam maravilhosas! Os acompanhamentos também merecem destaque.

Podemos argumentar que existem vários restaurantes em Almeirim, com história e tradição, e que servem diariamente a famosa “sopa da pedra”, entre outros pratos, a milhares de comensais que por ali passam.

Mas hoje vamos falar-vos de um dos nossos restaurantes preferidos naquelas paragens. Para nós o melhor restaurante de Almeirim do chefe Alexandre Albergaria “O Cisco”.

Conhecemos este restaurante desde a sua abertura, há quase 6 anos, e tem mantido a sua consistência tanto a nível da cozinha como a nível do seu serviço de sala. As mesas vestidas com toalhas e guardanapos de tecido proporcionam à sala um requinte e um ambiente mais sofisticado. Um espaço relativamente pequeno e acolhedor que nos faz sentir sempre em casa.

A nossa última experiência foi em Fevereiro de 2022 e temos sempre uma dificuldade enorme na escolha dos pratos, porque apetece-nos pedir toda a carta e saímos sempre a rebolar.

Começamos com o couvert, uma seleção de pães, manteiga de ervas (coentros, alho), queijo seco, azeite Quinta da Lagoalva e azeitonas aromatizadas.

Seguiram-se uns Pezinhos de Leitão de coentrada, esta entrada é repetente nas várias incursões ao Cisco, o destaque é mesmo a textura, o sabor e o respectivo pão frito que acompanha. Vale mesmo a pena experimentar. 12,50€

Arroz de línguas de Bacalhau é um prato fantástico. O arroz malandrinho, cremoso, muito bem acompanhado com umas línguas cozinhadas no ponto certo. Este é um prato reconfortante que nos enche a alma. 22€

Para finalizar um rabo de Boi com puré de batata trufado, a carne cozinhada na perfeição. Prato adequado para os dias frios de Inverno. Muito bem confeccionado. 22€

E voltamos a pecar com um Bolo de chocolate e como pecado que é não vamos falar dele, o melhor mesmo é prevaricar 5,50€

Bebemos brancos, Conde Vimioso Sommelier 2020 (excelente) 14,50€ e Casa Cadaval Reserva 2018 (já era) 16,00€

Dicas: Pratos da época, sável, caça entre outros. Ao almoço em dias de semana há prato do dia com a mesma qualidade e a melhor preço.

E por que é essencial para nós? Porque não conseguimos escolher…apenas um prato!!

Perfeito para um bom almoço! De salientar os excelentes cogumelos salteados como entradas. Para pratos principais existe um cardápio bem diversificado de carne e peixe. Para sobremesa o leite creme foi sem dúvida o ponto alto, sendo esta uma receita de família! O ambiente é calmo e os serventes são muito simpáticos! É um prazer encontrar lugares assim como este!

Quelle découverte! Petit établissement en plein centre-ville qui de prime abord de paye pas de mine! Mais il faut absolument passer la porte. Au menu une cuisine traditionnelle portugaise de goût : Soupe de pierre (morceaux de viandes, pommes de terre, tomates) pleine de saveurs, réconfortante au possible et portions gargantuesque! Et un superbe bacalao a Bras, crémeux, pas trop salé, parfait! Malheureusement pour nous, plus de place pour le dessert compte-tenu des portions gargantuesques!

Restaurante com uma sala pouco impressionante ao contrário da comida que é de comer e chorar por mais. O atendimento foi muito simpático e o preço no final refletiu a qualidade de toda a experiência. Sem dúvida a repetir.

Restaurante tradicional. Bem localizado. Staff bastante simpático e atencioso. 5 estrelas para a comida. Bem confecionada e doses bem servidas . Recomendo os filetes de peixe com arroz de grelos, muito bons.

Comida simplesmente maravilhosa. Espaço pequeno mas acolhedor. A localização podia ser melhor, mas valeu pela experiência. Não é barato, mas valeu cada cêntimo. Um must stop na sua visita a Almeirim.

Amazing food, simply wonderful. The place is small and the location could be better. It is not cheap for most Portuguese, but worth every dime. A must stop in your visit thru Almeirim.
