Torre de Palma is breathtaking. The setting is perfect for a couple of nights of downtime. The indoor and outdoor pools are splendid. The views of the wines and fields are spectacular. One tip - you might like to check which room you are checking into. Each room is styled differently. Our room was styles excellently. However, not everyone will like all styles. Make sure you do the wine barrel tasting. This was so interesting and fun. The welcome drinks on your first night on top of the tower at sunset is a really nice touch.

An idyllic escape from Lisbon in a secluded part of Alantejo. The perfect place to unwind, drink wine, ride horses, run and swim. The team are lovely and the WhatsApp chat is very useful during our stay. The wine and dinner is fantastic, and the grounds are utterly charming.

5 star experience, service and amenities through and through. I stayed here with my husband and 5 month old. We found this property through the marriot site and were rewarded with a suite upgrade because of husband’s status. Upon check in we had one of the best welcome experiences - wine tasting up top of the tower as the sun was setting. Because of our little one we had many requests, which the front desk and house keeping were all able to accommodate. Highly recommend this stay if you want to disconnect and enjoy your surroundings along with great wine and food. Will come back here in the future, we liked that this property has something for everyone while still feeling like an upscale luxury resort.

Beautiful property with incredibly friendly staff. This was truly a 5 star stay. Beautiful and uniquely designed rooms. One of the best hotel breakfasts I've had in Portugal. And the amenities made for a relaxing yet enjoyable: taking a leisurely bike ride around the vineyards, stomping on the harvested grapes in the giant marble tubs, and watching time slowly trickle by at the outdoor pool and in the Turkish bath. The sunsets and night sky are some of the best parts of the remote location. It's also centrally located to multiple small historic towns of the region with historical importance that make for easy day trips from the property. I can't wait to revisit this property again one day.

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely two night stay here last week! The staff is very attentive, and we felt like we had the property mostly to ourselves during our stay. In addition to our lovely room, we enjoyed wine tasting, the outdoor pool, horseback riding, and their on-site restaurant. They were able to accommodate my gluten free diet (celiac) without any trouble. Altogether, the stay was peaceful and absolutely what we were looking for, far from the hustle and bustle of the big cities.

Wow! Such an incredible experience! The location, facilities, staff, wine, food - all was amazing! Be sure to go to the rooftop for sunset … and wine. We also toured the working winery on site with one of the wine makers (Sara). Our only regret was not staying longer. I would recommend two nights minimum. We are already planning to go back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Arrived just in time for a glass of wine on the tower and enjoyed the beautiful sunset you have from her over this part of Alentejo. Incredibly attentive and kind staff everywhere we were. You feel the great family energy behind this project. A captivating place of great calmness. The wine tour is a real highlight. Very excited to be back next time when coming to Portugal.

Torre de Palma is a slice of heaven. I stayed here in 2019 and got married here in 2022. The hotel is beautiful, relaxing, and serene. It is unique and an absolute dream. One thing that truly sets this hotel apart is the staff and service. I have stayed at 5 star hotels across the world and never experienced service like I did here. Everyone who works there goes above and beyond daily to give guests the best experience possible, which was actually one common comment from our wedding guests. As the bride, they could not have made my wedding weekend any more perfect. Margarida’s communication, attention to detail and thoughtfulness is unmatched.

From the impeccable sunset views to the fantastic food and the amazing wine, there is nothing not to love about this place. If you are considering Torre de Palma for a stay or even your wedding, I cannot recommend this place enough. We will undoubtedly be back for a third visit.

We had a wonderful visit here at Torre de Palma! We had an on-site wine tasting and learned about their wine making process. They also helped us organize a cork tour. We had dinner at their restaurant and the octopus and pork neck were delicious.

Would love to have spent more than one night and enjoy the amenities.

Also, they were great at communicating through WhatsApp.

We were an American family of four- two adult children, my husband and I. All The staff was amazing especially given we spoke no Portuguese. Everyone was friendly, helpful and attentive to every request. A nice extra- the daughter of the owner -now the GM - gave an interesting and personal history of the estate over a welcome glass of wine at sunset. Christiana at dinner recommended great foods and wine always with a smile. I would describe the decor as eclectic, whimsical and simply elegant. Overall a wonderful place for our three days on the Alentejo and we would love to come back!

Awesome stop if you are traveling across Portugal . Five star location and the services and staff , confirm this status. Been here in August , so be prepared for a very warm temperature during the day and cold ones in the mornings and evenings ( up to 12-15 degrees centigrade of temperature fluctuations).

Great stay. The most friendly and accommodating staff I have seen in a long time.
It's a really great place to stay and relax in the region. The wine room is also phenomenal.

An absolute jewel of a hotel. Everything about the property is impeccable and unique. The service is first class and the restaurant/food is a foodies dream. On our first to Portugal my spouse surprised me with this hotel and when we returned to Portugal post the pandemic this was at the top of our must do list. Second time did not disappoint! There will definitely be a third visit.

There really is no better Marriott property in the world. The wine and food are great, and the hotel and amenities are fantastic. I should also note that there is a special year (2017) the wine was particularly unique and good and if you have dinner in the restaurant, they do have it by the glass to sample, absolutely worth it if you are a wine enthusiast. The stables are lovely, and in war weather it is a very nice afternoon sitting by the pool overlooking the grapes. Plenty of small hideaways for reading, playing games, or just talking with friends. They also have free electric vehicle charging for guests.

My two night stay here was amazing. Everyone was very cordial and helpful. This boutique setting allows you to enjoy a more calming vibe with tons of amenities. I stayed in the largest suite that they offer and it didn’t disappoint. Whether it’s swimming, spa services, wine tasting, equestrian experiences, etc there’s lots to offer.

One of the coolest hotels I have ever been to (we stopped to break up the drive between Porto and the Algarve). I have been to hundreds of hotels all over the world and there are very few that surprise me this much. The staff was amazing, the food was tasty as hell (loved the mango), the property was clean, the room was amazing, the views are cool (that rooftop was something else!), the pool was neat and finally, the horse-drawn carriage picnic and the wine tasting with the winemaker were just amazing ways to kick off my 40th birthday. Thank you to the Torre de Palma for taking such great care of us!

My boyfriend and I went for my birthday last week. We had initially heard about the hotel from a friend. The Hotel itself is Gorgeous - the design was done impeccably. We stayed in the King's Suite which was lovely. The rooms are old barn stables - which allows a lot of light through 4 doors. I'd say one of our favorite parts was the wine. We loved the 2016 red - amazing. I'd highly recommend doing the wine tour with the wine maker. They were crushing wine the morning we left, and we were able to taste some of the grapes - which were heavenly. Every day at sunset they do a lovely wine tasting in tower, which was beautiful. Another great perk was the food and the service. Everything was amazing and fresh from the garden. Our only downside - they were setting up for a wedding right outside our room, which was extremely loud in the mornings. Not the most relaxing noise to wake up to.
