Fantastic food, great seafood and meats. Brilliant service and the host is clearly passionate about food and served up some gorgeous Spanish dishes. Lovely view of odeseixce beach and nice chilled atmosphere.

Best place in town by far. Great food, with an international/spanish touch, we tried some recipe from Yotam Ottolenghi’s book, nice place, nice chat with the owners who were really kind.

Everything was perfect: a lovely beach bar nearby the sea, just in front of Odeceixe beach. We had a late lunch with oysters, clams and tuna tartare. They serve truly fresh seafood and cook it at the moment. Strongly recommended if you are planning to go to Odeceixe

This spot is so good every time! This was my second visit to Odeciexe and I was looking forward to revisiting this charming beachside bar/resto. This time around I spent two weeks in Odeciexe and frequented this spot MANY times (its the type of place that starts to feel A bit like Home after a few visits thanks to the super nice staff and home cooked style food).
This is the perfect spot to stop for a tasty brunch on your way to the beach (the scramble egg with 3 ingredients and fresh OJ was my go to). It’s only a 5 minute walk up from the main beach so it’s excellent for an easy and delicious lunch or some
Drinks (try the sangria!) My favourite time to dine there was always dinner. The town quiets down after the beach rush and their is such a nice ambience in and around the restaurant. For starts the playlist is always soooo good. They even offer it on their Instagram!. Their ALWAYS excellent daily dish (usually a warm stew of sorts) accompanied with a nice glass of wine or one of the artisan beers they offer is truly the nicest way to finish off a day at the beach in Odeciexe. The owners are always the nicest and incredibly detail oriented. From the cute decor and dish ware (and again that playlist! ) to the thoughtful menu of comforting food along with excellent service - this is a don’t miss stop

It's different for sure. Although everything that I ate was good... from the tomato soup, the potatoes as main and the dessert.. I felt that the asking price was high. Ok you have a good spot with a super view. But it was great nevertheless.. very very good food. Super fresh ingredients and you can feel that all is home made properly. Just wish the asking price was a bit lower. VeryGood service.

I have been going to Bar Da Praia every year since they opened! My favourite are the prawns, the "Gildas", their lemon cream, their white portuguese wine as well as their new especialtity for 2020: their amazing clams in lemon and white wine sauce!!! The food, for the amount and quality is not expensive at all. I am used to lunch and dinner in many restaurants around the world but surely is one of my favourites, because of the food, their amazingly nice staff, their exquisite music and the dream location. All together makes it a wonderful experience not to miss, worth the value!

By far the best food I had for a long time and trust me I've seen places. The tuna tartar was extremely delicious and the desserts are mind blowing. Their kitchen is about 1m squared but big enough for the chef to do his wizardry. Give these people a michelin star already! I highly recommend this authentic place

Absolutely loved our experience here! The food was amazing and the service outstanding. The Portugese style clams and potatoes with dips were both delicious! A lovely authentic place in the most beautiful beach village.

Delicious food: great guacamole with nachos, the main dishes were amazing and the desserts were also perfect! The owner is super kind, gave free refills, blankets when we were cold and even called us a taxi. The vieuw was stunning and the terras was very cozy.

Perfect place to have a late lunch/early dinner literally above the beach. Homemade food (besides the a la carte menu they have a selection of dishes of the day), super friendly staff and the je ne sais que vibe all make you want to sit on the terrace for hours.
Must try: Lemon scream and (amazing!) iced tea.

Loved everything about it!
The food was delicious. Highly recommend the Ameijoas a Bulhao Pato (Portuguese-style clams), definitely one of my faves. The tuna tartar, the guacamole and the homemade desserts (I wish I could've just had all of them in one sitting) were all also amazing.
Add in the excellent service, the music, the scenery and just the overall vibes of the place and you just got the perfect meal.
We'll definitely come back for more!

Lovely to see an actual restaurant with a chef that can cook something else than burger and mix traditional Portuguese cuisine and modern vege friendly cuisine !

Fantastic vibes, delicious food, all around perfect space to hang out before or after swimming. Staff were wonderful too.

Lovely, quaint little cafe bar on a terrace overlooking the beach. We decided to stop for lunch with our 2 young children. The food was great, homemade from fresh ingredients with vegetarian & vegan options available. Enough familiar food to keep the kids happy and the host & staff very family friendly. Thank you!

Beautiful little spot for some delicious lunch and sangria. We ordered the waiters recommendations - clams and tuna tartare. Both were amazing.
