What a dream! The freshness of the ingredients is outstanding and special. Management is cool and calm and super engaged. I literally had the best meal ever. Trust their choices. They're honest and really know their role in making sure you have a good meal but most importantly a great time.

Compliments to the chef, the staff and owners of such a wonderful place to have a great meal! My husband and I came across this jewel by chance and took a chance to see if they had a table for us, since they only took reservations, and they had a cancellation, so they took us in! Great food and great staff! Would definitely recommend it!!!

My review is for the museum not the restaurant. It's really interesting! For sure you eat rice every week or so :) Specially to be told by a person that actually worked in the fields his whole life .

A modern restaurant set in an antiquated barn near a lowland river basin in a very small Portuguese town. The menu was simple, traditional Portuguese with a modern twist. The food itself was made from fresh ingredients and well seasoned. The service was excellent: we originally told us that the restaurant was full at 8pm and offered us a table outside, I assume expecting that we would refuse (it was empty, cold and full of mosquitos!). We were absolutely starving and had tried everywhere else in the village so accepted. About 10 minutes later and with the Mosquitos slightly less hungry, the maitre d' moved us upstairs to the mezzanine where the table overlooked the entire restaurant - epic (read: make sure you book in advance during the summer!!).

Don't let the pictures deceive you, this is without a doubt the best restaurant in comporta. The owner needs to spend on better pictures because the restaurant is amazing. Get the padron peppers, sirloin on the stone, all the food was amazing and the service as well.

We haven't been in a museum but had really good lunch here.

Restaurante extremamente simpático, com uma sala ampla, a comida é excelente e muito bem servida (pedimos o “Arroz do Mar”, com peixe do dia; as fotos que tirei, já íamos no segundo prato e não conseguimos acabar tudo). A volta do restaurante o local é muito calmo e tranquilo. Vale muito a pena, mesmo se for hora de viagem até lá. Recomendo 👌
