The family enjoyed the pastel de natas, chocolate croissants and chicken quiche. Very cheerful and helpful lady serving us with our very limited Portuguese.

Typical Portuguese place with freshly made pastries. Service always comes with a smile, it is a popular place with the locals despite being very small indeed. Don't expect anything fancy, this is a simple and honest day to day bakery. I have gone back many times to enjoy a bit of piece and quiet away from the touristic spots. 2 pasteis de natal + coffee + tea came to 5 euros.

A small bakery where locals buy their daily bread, biscuits and cakes. If you are after colourfully looking cakes and pastries sold all over the Lagos for the tourists this is definately not where you want to go. It is simple and cheap as the bakeries should be with staple and small variety. It opens at 8am but many times the bread arrives 10-15 minutes later. I suggest order a coffee and sit at the bar talking to locals or listening to them while you wait for your fresh bread.

Throughout the day you can get a nice breakfast or grab a snack or coffee. The staff is helpful and friendly.

During our stay in Lagos we came here every day! Plenty of locals go here on a daily basis! So that alone should be a good sign :)

Very tasty sandwiches made out of fresh products. The Pasteis and other sweet products are also of high quality. Juices and coffee delish as well. Highly recommended!

OS MELHORES PASTÉIS DE NATA DE PORTUGAL.
A padaria é maravilhosa, não é entupida de turistas como as outras da cidade, o atendimento muito bom e as comidas sem palavras. As melhores coisas foram o pão de torresmo, o bolo de cenoura com chocolate e os pastéis de nata. Eu tinha acabado de chegar em Portugal e começava a minha saga para encontrar o melhor pastel de nata, que eu acreditava estar em Lisboa, pois bem, depois de uma semana e uns 15 pastéis de nata venho afirmar que nenhum superou o da vó Maria, deveria ser premiado. Saudade eterna.

Wat een fijne plek, geen drukte van toeristen. Hele lieve mensen, goede service en hele lekker producten. Wij hadden een gegrilde toast met ham en kaas, echt heel lekker. De pastel de nata is echt de lekkerste tot nu toe. Echt een aanrader om hier even langs te gaan. Ook de prijzen zijn heel gunstig.
