Amazing restaurant for grilled food.
It was recommended by the owner of the place where we stayed in Lagos and we were not disappointed.
Food is very good and fresh, either meat or fish. Portions for side dishes are very generous (salad, French fries). It's not expensive, especially drinks which we found particularly cheap!
Restaurant is popular, so from 12:15 onwards there might be queue. We were there early September, and we arrived at 11:55 and we got a table inside, everything was full outside.

Traditional portuguese restaurant with very delicious food at very good prices.
During the weekend, especially around the usual lunch hours, it gets very busy and you have to wait until you get a table. But the food is worth the wait.

Been coming here whilst on holiday since 2016. The crowds have increased but the food has been consistently fantastic

Great food, excellent service and wonderful price. Highly recommend trying the Golden Bream. If you don’t reserve, expect to wait and you may get in.

Fantastic… thats how fish and meat grilled needs to taste in Portugal. Paired with salad for the mental health and a white wine. The wait of 1 hour says everything.

You get a plate of salad and either chips or roasted garlic potatoes with the fish you like the look of. Absolutely packed at lunchtime when I ate my five fresh mackerel. No filleting. You have to work on your fish, mostly with your fingers.
Wonderful seafood in a great atmosphere.

I was hoping to try sardines, but they didn’t have any so recommended I get the sea bass instead. It was absolutely delicious and the service was an absolute delight!

Amazing grilled fresh sardinhas, carapau and robalo. Arrived at 12:10 and waited for table until 14:00. It was definitely worth the wait. Very nice environment.

Amazing local spot in Lagos! We had a massive robelo with salad, wine and potatoes, plus dessert and coffee. All of it was fabulous and very high quality! The atmosphere is very charming. Would recommend for a lunch with friends or early dinner date. 10/10 will be back the next time I’m in Lagos.

We were recommended to visit here by a friend's colleague. Lovely food where you can pick your own fish. We had the sardines & sea bass. Food was really fresh & delicious. Friendly staff too.

This is the best place for fresh fish, go early as it’s very popular and only open for lunch. Really good service and the most value for money you’ll get. Unbeatable. There is a really interesting zoo/grounds to walk round too. 5/5 for me!

Arrived at 12 noon and we were seated right away. The staff were incredible throughout, happy smiling people very proud of their local restaurant. The food is simple and delicious. The barbeque is one of the best in Lagos, we will return here often. This time we had pork and tbone.

Cheap, very cheerful and a great atmosphere. But make sure to book otherwise you might face a long queue. However, great food, service amazingly good & fast. A great experience. 5 stars

Food is awesome (get the grilled seafood), cheap, and the restaurant has so much character. Come early to beat the lines!

If you appreciate the real wood grill and grilled fish, you would totally love it. For us and many locals this is the best grill in Algarve. The grill masters know what they are doing! Order "Cherne" - Atlantic wreckfish, it is fantastic! Cantarilho (Rose fish) is amazing too. Only opened for lunch until 4 pm. And no reservations possible, the queue to enter normally lasts 15 minutes.
