Pingo Doce Lagos - Marina

Clean, great selection and well stocked in most items. Pingo Doce branded products are a good value. Convenient to the Marina. And they sell peanut butter! (Who says it's not available in Europe?) Ready to eat meals are tasty and great way to sample Portuguese specialties at a nice price. Large, clean eat-in area.

Nice surprise walking into this store. Very large range with a vast number of products available. Bakery section was overflowing with fresh goods and plenty of other fresh product. Cafe adjoined looked nice also. Came here for some juice and left with a whole lot more.

Good place for delicious and super cheap breakfast. Croissant with ham, pastel natal , coffee and orange juice only €2.50

A huge choice of fresh fish. I bought 2 kilo of oysters for like 7 euros. Much cheaper than at Mercado Municipal.

Good supermarket for the tourists. Their breads are superb 👌 Not much green vegetables. Their fish & meat are fresh and price is good. Lovely restaurant with good food as well.

Wow, what food in the cafe was excellent. There are two lines, one to sit in and one to take away, you take a number when sitting in and await your turn at the counter. Food ordered then decide to eat outside or indoors. We choose outside as the weather was glorious. There is also a supermarket attached so after or before you shop you can treat yourself to a wee bite of something nice 😊

Large supermarket, one of a few, that contains a wide variety of food items. The produce department is large, the dairy section is filled with many types of dairy products, and the store has many other supplies for meal prep.

Very good supermarket with an excellent variety of products. However, we arrived late one evening and staff kept insisting we leave. Finding a cart is a bit of a shore as one has to roam the parking lot for one.

Great grocery store with selection of food and household items. Difficult to navigate to due to current roadworks but we got there eventually. Ample free parking.

Great choice of products as well as garden furniture and beach accessories. Like Asda, Tesco or Sainsburys.

I visited here wayy back in summer 2017 and the service was really good. I loved making my own orange juice! And, since my family went to Portugal on a holiday from Ireland, the staff spoke clear English and they understood us! I recommend this shop to all tourists from not just Ireland, but the whole of the UK and Europe!

Great Prices, Great Selection, Great Service
The prepare food is very tasty. The pastries are great. The indoor seating area is large (no outdoor seating).
The cheese, meat, fish, etc. choices are excellent. It is a large store offering many choices. I was also able to find a granny cart by the check-out area.

Good prices, has take away and place to eat, recommend to watch out for their big sales and to register their card so you can grab big discounts on your way out. You can grab a pastry for less than 1 euro or a sandwich to bring to the beach for only around one euro or two, good variety with tuna, chicken, smoked ham, brie etc... Also a good variety of take away ( prepared meals) if you want to go for a picnic drop by and save yourself trouble on your family vacation, the prices are very affordable! They even have sushi for take away on a shelf inside. They serve meals cheaper than almost all the places I know and their brand products have super affordable prices and good quality. Recommend! Also has a good butcher and fish stall. This establishment is big so there is a very good variety of products, but not too many foreign sauces and foods.
