Villa Kimbo

Stayed here for a week, following a great deal with TUI. The villa is located approximately 10 minutes from Praia Da Luz, with good access to the A22 (about an hour from Faro Airport). There are two wings of bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms (a master bedroom and a twin room in each wing). These wings are divided by two sitting areas/lounges and a galley kitchen (well equipped). To the rear of the villa is the pool and covered sitting areas, these are well kept and very welcome in the hot sun! We found the unheated pool to be perfect after a busy day exploring the Algarve. Close to the pool is an outhouse, with a washing machine. The villa is set within an expansive and secure compound, with plenty of green spaces etc, there is space to park two cars very easily. For the price we paid, we were extremely impressed with Villa Kimbo and fully recommend it. If we were to draw any criticism, it would be that the owner could improve signage on local roads etc. We found it hard to find the correct gate in the dark following a late flight, it would have been reassuring (in our tired stupor!) to have had a few signs dotted about. The Google maps position is correct, look for the wooden gate, which is otherwise devoid of any expected signage etc. All in all, 100% recommend this villa and wish the owner well in the future.

We spent a week at the lovely villa, 4 adults and 3 children - 2,6,10.
The outside area was absolutely perfect, the pool was a lovely size.
The grounds the villa was on were beautiful and felt very safe.
The bedrooms were very spacious and the villa itself was nice and clean.
The villa is the same as the pictures we had seen on the tui website.
We would definitely return in the future.

We have just got back from enjoying a months stay at Villa Kimbo in Espiche, we were greeted by Teresa a really lovely woman, she showed us round and then left us to enjoy our time there, but said if you need anything then just ask, we had a problem getting taxis one night and bless her she took us to our restaurant and then said call and I'll bring you back, which she did. The Villa is gorgeous, very private and omg so peaceful and the pool was amazing. The villa itself has an African theme, it's very spacious except for the kitchen this is small, but still has everything you need, there are chickens and a cockeral, but we never heard him early in the morning. It's walking distance to the nearest small village and you're only 10 minutes from Praia da Luz by car. We would definitely recommend Villa Kimbo to anyone. Thank you Teresa xxx

Beautiful villa. Very private villa and very secure. Close to the local town which has a lovely beach and great restaurants. The owners of the villa are very welcoming and friendly, just a lovely couple. Would definitely recommend this villa to anyone, especially if you have children. The pool is also well kept, clean and has the sun on it all day. A great holiday

Villa is located in a lovely quiet place. Layout of the villa is very spacious and the pool is ideal. Not too far from the nearest village of Espiche and a 10 minute car ride away to Praia da Luz. Owners are very helpful and friendly.

Lovely place to stay, beautiful surroundings, quiet and private. Best place place for holidays.

Really lovely welcome from the owner upon arrival.. perfect position for the villa and certainly not overlooked at all...it definitely had everything we needed..However it looks tired and in desperate need moderation.. ie new beds because they were very uncomfortable and looked like camp beds with a topper on, air-conditioning is a must.. and a dam good clean... Cobwebs everywhere, shower curtain thick with mould and hanging off..I don't feel it was value for money..

Dont know what happened to this place no welcome hamper, never met the owners, maid came to clean but only dropped 4 towels off, television didnt work, cooker hob didnt work, last two bedrooms smelt stale, rustic building plus side living space is spacious pool and grounds beautiful

Went there for a friend's 50th for a week, pictures don't portray when you get there, rooms were not clean, cobwebs everywhere, kitchen to small, beds old and creaky, pillows were lumpy, towels were so hard had to purchase our own, WiFi kept dropping, neighbors cats were a constant annoyance, mould in the bathrooms, musty wardrobes, bedding in the wardrobes had to be aired as damp, broken ironing board, iron didn't get up to heat, built in BBQ not great with charcoal, hot tub was an additional charge of 40 euros for 30 minutes. To get to the Villa you have to go down an unmade road full of potholes. I would think again if you are booking this villa .........
