Fantastic piece of steak... perfectly cooked with all the beautiful Portuguese trimmings....rice, beans. Chips and salad. I could not believe how fast and efficient the service was with only limited staff on hand. This is definitely one to try out. I was also pleasantly surprised by the bill...very reasonable for the quality of food. This will become a regular !!

A total favourite in Portugal. Its the real deal: no frills, good service, amazing food.

The highlight is the Mirandesa Meat and the main waitress. She can work out what you like and how you want it cooked! The outstanding chefs do what they do best and voilà! I have eaten here with many friends and she always gets it right.

Many places in big cities advertise as real Alentejo food, beef and porco preto being the main attractions but after eating at this unassuming place I can say that there's no comparison. I repeat, it's the real deal.

The meat is just delicious, very good and large size meals. Service is okay because there is a lot of clients. Recommended

My first time back in over two years and it was even better than I remembered. It's a simple place with amazing meat-based dishes. The Tornedo is cooked to perfection with a choice of sauces, served generously. The service is friendly, fast and efficient.

Great and welcoming service, stellar food including migas with “black” pork and these pieces of Mirandesa veal braised in a wine sauce. Highly recommended.

A very good place to stop on the way to Algarve. The grilled meat is TOP! It is a bit pricy. The restaurant is noisy and the service is not the best. Nevertheless, I do recommend!

Amazing food (if you are a vegan or veggie probably not the place for you!). Friendly and helpful staff. went 3 times whilst staying in the area and were not disappointed. The meat is delicious and the price is very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit even if your not staying close by.

The. Best. Steak. EVER!!

Don't be fooled by the interior - this is a prime location to enjoy a good steak. My personal favorite: Turnado piementa preta - a big fillet steak with black pepper sauce.

The fries are homemade, the service is quick and very polite. You can see the chef preparing the food in the open kitchen.

Price quality ratio unbeatable. I have been to a lot of fancy steak restaurants, but this is my favorite! Have been there many times and will come certainly again ;-)

We had a fantastic dinner here, especially as it's a bit off the beaten tourist track. Definitely would recommend it though if you're a fan of meat.

Spacious stop off for regular users of the IC1. Low on decor but scoring highly on the more important features. Prompt and friendly service, great tasting food at very reasonable prices. More variety of meat dishes based on choice cuts of Mirandesa and Olivença Black pig but the ubiquitous bacalhau in different guises is also served. Recommended.
