Military Museum of Bragança

Nice place to visit

Absolutely worth a visit. For 3€ you can read about the different artifacts as well as climb up all the towers. Very well organized too, but you cannot take photos INSIDE the museum.

It contains a lot of weapons and armors from different ages Some exhibits have holes and dents which are traces of blood battles

Castle is amazing. You can see in places where it has been restored but it's ok because it adds to the original construction of the castle. There is so much of the original castle, walls & turrets which you can explore to your leisure for a small charge. If you have the energy, you can climb the steep stone stairs onto the ramparts to the towers where you get some great views of the surrounding countryside & city. The museum was quite interesting. There were exhibits on the ground floor from medieval times & as you make your way up the tower where the museum is housed, the exhibits move in time to. From swords to muskets to pistols to canons. It interesting to see where the people who lived in the castle stayed & there are some pieces of medieval furniture dotted around.

Está dentro del castillo de Braganza y dispone de multitud de armas. Muy interesante. Se llega en coche y la entrada es muy barata, dos adultos y un niño fueron 5 euros.

Fantástico, muito bem cuidado. Recomendo a visita.
