Beautiful rural site with excellent facilities and a lovely pool and restaurant serving regional food. Large level pitches with electric and water.
We did need to get an adapter for the 2 pin sockets.
Definitely recommend and we would go again.
Close to Bragança with some great walks.. See photo.

Of the 40+ campsites I've been too in Portugal this is undoubtedly my favourite. Pitches in indigenous woodland, sunset views across the valley that invite you to pause for a while, and immaculate facilities with hot water and the sweet sounds of fado while you shower. Even at 11pm.

Beautiful, tranquil campsite with the most stunning pool. We stayed longer than planned as it was so relaxing. The pitches were big with lots of shade options and loved how were were shown around on the buggy when checking in! Sometimes the toilet roll ran out and the hot water could be intermittent but nothing to worry about and we loved the music in there! The bar staff were really attentive and welcoming and the restaurant food was delicious with a lovely view too.
One minor thing, we had a couple of abrupt comments from the two managers which upset me (& I heard the same from another family too). Aside from that, it was a magical stay and we would go again and highly recommend it.

Great campsite, we spent 4 nights but could easily have spent more. The sanitary block was extremely well maintained and modern. A very large pool for a campsite with grass area surrounding it .
The pitches are large a give a lot of privacy as the are staggered in different parts of the campsite.
Only a 10 minute drive to Bragança and large supermarket.
Would definitely recommend this site.

A beautiful location. Good level sites on a terraced hillside. Trails for walking dogs just outside the gate. Excellent restaurant, and swimming pool, but with only 15°C air temp. - wasn't swimming temperature for me!
Just one downside - the price for dogs was a bit high - 3.96€ for each dog. We had 3 dogs!

Excellent campsite, with all the facilities. Well-terraced landscape with good, spacious places for each pitch.
Excellent swimming pool and restaurant, with good vegetarian options and wonderful staff.
Good basis for Braganca and the National Park.
We like it so much that we are staying an extra two days.
Only disappointments are that the extras (e.g. electricity) are too pricey and that the wifi doesn't work. ;o(

Beautiful views, clean showers and toilets (bring your own toilet paper!). Laundry service was excellent (washed, folded and delivered to our car). A little difficult to find someone at reception at certain times but staff were all very friendly and warm. Our lot was on a hill. Water (well and spring) tasted very good.

We only stayed here for 1 night on our motorhome trip back to the UK through Portugal, but we really wish we could have stayed longer. The views from the site are stunning as it is up in the mountains, and the site itself is both interesting in its layout which maximises the views and very professionally run. We were greeted by 2 lovely local ladies who guided us into the site and were also the chefs and had other duties on the site. There was a language barrier but it made no difference, we were made to feel very welcome. The owners of the site are also very friendly and helpful, we had a few issues with the electric which was sorted out immediately. We had a meal in the restaurant, which was limited due to it being the winter months, but it did not matter at all. We had the wild boar and chestnut stew which was cooked in traditional cast iron pots and also the steak, both came with local vegetables. We were also served a free starter. The menu for the later seasons is quite large. We also ordered fresh bread for in the morning which was excellent
The toilet and shower facilities were pristine, heated and also had music playing in them! Again a great experience!
The pool which is open in later months looked very well cared for and had a great space around it. There are also other areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
The site also had small lodges for hire which looked really cosy.
You won't be sorry if you choose this site.
Hazel :)

This is a wonderful campsite! Beautiful setting with pitches nestling amongst trees on different levels. Toilet and shower block is the best we’ve ever seen! Although take your own loo paper. Lovely pool. Nice restaurant serving local food and wine. A great find!

very friendly camp site, staff was super friendly, and the site itself is gorgeous, you are in the middle of the mountain, with a huge swimming pool just there. And you can see the world biggest pocket knife while you have dinner.

End of June 2022 we stayed at this green and spacious camp site. We had a very large spot with a terrific view. Close to clean bathrooms (with non-stop fado music, we would suggest to add some different music :-). We did not use the pool, but it looked very tempting. We stayed with a tent and could not cook dinner due to the wind at the time, but we were able to take out food or eat in the restaurant. Very nice people, good food, cosy family style menu. Old center of Braganca and castle area really worth the visit, as well as the round trip we did by car in the nature park. Overall perfect site to stay when visiting the region.

Lovely out of the way site. Host really welcoming. Pitches in nice relaxed surroundings. Toilet block clean. We only had an overnight stay so did not pay for pool since that was extra which was a shame

We only planned to stay at this site for 2 or 3 nights and have been here now nearly a week. Lovely setting, very clean toilets (bring your own toilet roll), nice swimming pool, friendly staff - Miguel is excellent! And as for the food - amazing. The steak is the best! Had the wild boar and chestnuts, and piri piri chicken- both excellent also. Good sized portions. If you like puddings try the Egg Pudding. Lots of other lovely homemade items to chose from. About 10 km from Bragsança - the castle is a good place to visit. Reasonably priced too.

One word of caution. Beware of your SatNav route in. We had a camper van towing a motorbike on a trailer driving from Bilbao. Google maps took as the quicker route through the hills for last 45 mins. Lovely views but very tight roads and extremely hilly. Not ideal for van and trailer - got quite hairy!!

Really cute and cool camping area where you can do a lot of different activities. The host is truly amazing and make your stay as comfortable as possible. The stone houses are well equipped and the restaurant is a gem. Thanks!

Camping Cepo Verde is a magnificent place at the edge of Montesinho Nature Park about 12km away from the historical town of Bragança. The camping is run by a very friendly and helpful staff that does everything to make you feel welcome. The camping has many shadow places, several rural bungalows and is very well maintained and clean. They have a lovely refreshing swimming pool and great bar/restaurant with a no smoking terrace.
During our long trips throughout Portugal and Spain this is the third time we visited Cepo Verde and we will certainly return on one of our future trips!
