Mosteiro's River Beach

Plenty of space and shade. Peaceful place where you can enjoy the sound of running water. There's a bar that serves good food at decent prices. Water is clean. There is also a specific area if you want to bring your pet.

A very good place to be with family. It does get a little crowded in the high season. However there’s free parking, tables for a good meal with all and an awesome pool of fresh water to enjoy.

What a super spot this is! So pretty and secluded yet with a great place to eat there too. Clear, clean water, great for kids. Fun all the way!

Great relaxing place for a swim. Bit pricey to buy drinks etc and gets crowded but kids loved it.

Very nice, not too crowded, fresh water. Later in the afternoon the water is under the shade of the big trees and might feel too cold.
I rented a kayak but you can only paddle along around 150 meters, which is too boring of an experience.

Located in a very cute little village. A real hidden gem in central Portugal. We visited in February and it was very quiet but I'm sure in the summer it is a great place to cool off and enjoy some sunshine. We got to see some village chickens roaming around.

An oasis with cool beer, chips, oh, and, yes, water. Much appreciated, very relaxed atmosphere.

We usually come here every year. The water is quite refreshing but of excelent quality. There is a bar nearby and lots of grass for the towels. I recommend going early. Could get crowdy at times.

River beach, indicated to Children the water level is lower, and clean you can see the river bottom.
Inside a small village "Mosteiro", everyone is very friendly and ready to assist you.
Nice infrastructures such as Restaurant, Bathroom.

Very cold water but a really enjoyable place with awesome access. The reason I enjoy this place the most is due to having a zone for pets owners.

Nice to visit in winter when the river is running fast, very relaxing to stop and stare.

Perfect for a sunny day out. Shallow,kid friendly water. Take wet shoes though as a little slippy on the cobble stone river bed

Beautiful place to visit. No one really knows about central Portugal which is a shame because it is a hidden gem where you actually see an authentic side of the country
