The best Mexican restaurant this side of the Mississippi! Tacos Pexito stays true to authentic Mexican cuisine while letting the local Portuguese ingredients be the stars of the show.

You can tell they put their heart into every dish on the menu. An ocean view where the smiles greet you at the door and, the vibe says “stay awhile”.

If you love spice let them know as their home made hot sauce (made from home grown peppers) is fantastic.

Much of the food is grown by the owner who really cares about the quality of his ingredients.

We are coming back for our next meal as I really want to try everything on the menu.

We love the Taco's and Mexican food on offer here but the recent addition of different pop up style cuisines is the cherry on the cake. Recently had Thai and Indian curries on offer that were the best I have had since moving to Portugal! Keep it up! Keep innovating!

Great little spot with an enthusiastic and friendly American owner who's determined to make room for some good Mexican food in Sesimbra (or is that all of Portugal). We had nachos with a hot sauce of his own creation. He's doing curry in winter. Get there

Good music, nice view, great cocktails and amazing food! I planned on eating here every night I was in Sesimbra, but the heat sadly got the best of me on my last day and I had to miss it! It was great to meet the owner of this taco truck too! Hope to be back soon for more fish tacos and Jesus juice!

We've been to Tacos Pexito twice (separate visits to Sesimbra). First time we found the place by accident as we thought it looked like a cute, tiny bar from the street (ocean walkway). Walked up the steps, saw the menu and started chatting with the owner, Nate. He's an interesting guy, great history, and fun to chat with about everything from tacos to the natural park areas, to travel and anything else.

But back to the food. AMAZING. We're from the USA, live in the Algarve and have been looking for the type of mexican/tacos that we're used to in the states. THIS IS THE PLACE. We've had the fish, carnitas, and barbacoa tacos and the chips, guac & salsa. Everything is fresh, made to order, and delicious. Outdoor seating with an ocean view. Doesn't get any better.

It was my first time to eat fish tacos and it was apparently very yummy. The beer batter fish was very fresh and tasty.
The home-made Pinacolada (without alcohol by my request) was just so amazing.
We can see the foods and drinks are well
prepared.

Had an orgasm eating the fish tacos - full When Harry Met Sally moment. Phenonenal food, fabulous atmosphere, breathtaking view, charismatic and charming and owner and staff - I'll be back every day!

I love this place, the vibes are immaculate (the music!!! So good), the food & drinks were great, everybody is extremely friendly even the guests. I met great people there and came back every day during my stay. Nate has the biggest heart & he’s a great owner, just don’t expect princess treatment, he’s too authentic and down to earth to twist that way.

Delicious tacos and really great cocktails.. not related to the restaurant but the owner, Nate, does stand up paddle tours of a beautiful beach nearby which I cannot recommend highly enough..

We are originally from northern California, the barbocoa tacos were amazing!! It was like having a taste of home. This place is definitely worth a visit. I am Celiac and there were plenty of options to choose from. His salsas were amazing also!

This place was great! Nate has an amazing personality. If you like very spicy food, let him know, there is a "secret" salsa that is the best I've ever had. The winter menu was going, so not much selection, but the fish tacos were amazing.

Very great place. The energy that the owner spreads is incredible. Additionally, the food and cocktails are extremely tasty. Defenitly a must visit.
