The water is clean, clear and cold.
Bring appropriate shoes for pebble beach, so you can explore around.
There are no toilets.
There is a restaurant, the 'Guarda-Rios'.
Parking spaces available from the restaurant.
Highly recommended.

Beautiful place, defined worth it to spend a good half an hour or more just appreciating this. It is a lovely, quiet place, with the water running, makes you feel relaxed. I went when the sun was going down, so there was nobody else there. I recommend going at least to see it!!!

One of the best place to visit

Little paradise hiden in the middle of the serra da estrela. Its a beautiful place that can quickly become overcrowded. It has a restaurant and a bar that people can hangout. The landscape and surroundings are quiet impressive!

A must visit place, natural pool, when you are in the Serra da Estrela area. The place is naturally beautiful and has a bar and restaurant nearby. There is not so much space to leave your belongings, so travel light...

Great place to do with kids, nice and calm. Really good local products (hazelnuts, tomato jam and marmalade) in the nearby restaurant

What a magical place, truly breath taking, I would highly recommend this place to anyone that loves waterfalls, easy access and just a little hike, so perfect for those who can't really walk to far,......
