That’s how much was left of my Francesinha. They do it rather well here, and the fries are killer!

For this type of restaurant (cervejaria/marisqueira) the food was really good and the service even better. Even though the restaurant was super busy you still get served pretty quickly and you have lots of space between tables. We had francesinha and octopus, both really well cooked. Prices are fair, not cheap, not expensive just right.

We were walking from the Sealife Aquarium to Serralves and hoped to find a good restaurant for lunch. Luckily, this restaurant was just on our way, so we decided to give it a try based on the positive reviews we've read on the internet. I'm so glad we did! The place was pretty busy and full of locals - it is safe to assume we were the only tourists there. We've ordered the francinha which was huge and tasty! However, it was the desserts ('baba de caramelo' and 'natas de ceu') that totally cought us off guard - easily the best desserts we've had in any restaurant in Portugal, by far! The service was fantastic, with very kind, communicative and helpful waiters, which added to the overall authentic feel. Overall, great restaurant, with excellent food and atmosphere, highly revommended!

A Nice restaurant to take your family and have a great Portuguese dinner. The staff is very nice and the prices are adjusted to the type of food they serve. Definitely try the fish and the rissol as entrée - they are super tasty and home made!!
