Wonderful place, wonderful people

We chose Alma Via Guesthouse to have our small wedding party and we are happy about it.
The location is charming and you can see the hard work that went into the restoration project. Both the restaurant and the rooms are great, but if the weather is on your side, the garden is the place to be.
On top, Marion, Mike, Pascal and everyone that help us with the party, are wonderful people. During the planning stage, as well as during the event, we got support really fast on everything.
Regarding the food, all the courses were delicious.
We really enjoyed our time there.
Alma Via now has a special place in our hearts and for sure we will visit it again and again.

I will keep dreaming about our short stay. No one can imagine that behind that beautiful green door there is an oasis. The village is beautiful and makes the stay even more special.

Without great ambitions or flaunts, this accommodation is fine, rich in details and perfect to visit the area. We would have loved staying a week and we left with a very good feeling.

It is well kept, the garden ans views are beautiful, the owners are nice and the kitchen is rich. We really liked that the food was the one of the day, no menu. So refreshing and simple!

If you look forward to slow down, do not hesitate. I will repeat if I can.

We’ve been spending the 3rd night here and enjoyed our stay so far.

Our room was perfect for the 4 of us, spacious and clean, including the bath room.

Breakfast and dinner were all tasty and plenty and we got served by the friendly staff.

Pro tip: discover the small bathing pond in the upper back of the guesthouse.

As I'm writing this review, me and my girlfriend are currently staying at Alma Via Guesthouse. After experiencing the first night here I have to say that it was the best sleep I've had in a long time.

From the moment we stepped foot into this place, we were greeted by wonderful people, their dog Alma who's a sweetheart and the beautiful green garden.

Last night's dinner was simply delicious to say the least, potatoes, perfectly cooked mushrooms, pork, a salad and to top it all off, a sweet dessert with ice-cream. For breakfast, we had cheese, sweet cherry tomatoes, cucumber, salamy, bread, coffee, tea and they also offer to make you some eggs however you like them.

The room is very spacious, clean and has a great view of the garden.

All in all, this place is perfect if you're looking to disconnect from the city noise or you want to work remotely from a quiet place (they have good Wi-Fi)

I am writing this review from the hills in Alma Via. We spend an amzing holiday with our friends and family, which for sure we will remember years to come. The place is amazing, clean and children friendly. And the guests are extraordinary, I wish the world was full of such incredible people. We had food prepared by them, which was delicious. And their son Tim, was our tour guide at the castle and curch, we were even allowed to ring the big bells of the village. I highly recommend this place, especially because we tried a lot of local accommodations in the region! A place to come back, again and again.

Very down to Earth and helpful owner. Excellent guesthouse, a classic proper Transylvanian heritage style transformation of the place. Clean and with good taste. Superb medieval restored fortified church across the street that should not be missed. Highly recommended from Canada.

Had only one night at Alma Via but wished for more! Located in the small village of Alma Vii in Transylvania, the guesthouse is quiet, comfortable, and beautifully yet simply decorated. Rooms are spacious, beds are very comfy, windows look out over a central lawn area and patio and/or out on the village. The restaurant is fabulous, with good wines, and breakfast was delicious and filling!! Rates are very reasonable and the owners Mike and Marion were very friendly and accommodating.

Very nice experience, the food was amazing and the hosts were friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely stay over New year 2022. The rooms are very spacious and Mike and Marion are gracious hosts. The food is exceptional and we even had a New Year's party!! We enjoyed an interesting forest walk and tour of the local fortified church complex. Highly recommended.

Everything here is perfect, from the surrounding countryside, to the rooms, the restaurant and kid friendly facilities (a space fully stacked with all sorts of toys and books), to the food and the owners' amazing attitude towards all the guests, no matter their needs. If you want to get "off the grid" and relax completely, this is the perfect place. :)

Beautifully renovated big old house that combines comfort with simplicity and rustic style. We had the perfect hosts who delighted us with the most delicious dinner. A real treat! Thank you for everything!

We had a short relaxing holiday at Alma-Via Guesthouse. We enjoyed everything: the place, the room, the very nice hosts Marion and Mike, the staff, Alma the sweet dog, the lovely cats. The food was above expectations, compliments to chef Marion.

We had such a delicious lunch at Alma vii 101. We enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and our talk with the owner. Really happy that you guys saved a pice of history in this amazing village! Love it ❤

Perfect place to spend time with family and friends in
a quiet traditional romanian village.
Staff is extraordinary, the food is delicious and the location is overwhelming.

It's an amazing guesthouse in Alma Vii, probable the best place where I was in Romania, the food was perfect, and also healthy, the price for a lunch or a dinner is approx 15 euros, the breakfast is include in the room price.
The hosts and the stuffs were very kind and friendly.
All the peoples who we met were friendly, I can only say good things, it was fabled :D.

From fine dining to very fine accommodation. The customer service was perfectly. The hosted us incognito and the owners, originally from Germany, are wonderful people, waiting for good and fine people to come to enjoy their accommodation and their neighbors(if you want to see a sheep farm( a stână))

We came for lunch and loved the place! The food was delicious, prepared with love and very generous (also good for vegetarians). We were impressed by how well the house had been restored. Super friendly owners. Will come back!

we had a 4-day workshop in Alma Via, so we spent 90% of the time within the property. Excellent, really excellent service, good food (and plenty!), amazing property.
Mike and Marion are really taking care of the place, putting intention and giving attention to every detail.
And Alma Vii is a really charming village, with a beautiful citadel.

I wholeheartedly recommend it!

We had such a great time at Alma Via and we were impressed by Marion and Mike's attention to details in renovating the place and attending to their guests. The surroundings are beautiful, the food coocked by Marion and Doamna Sanda is so fresh and tasty, the rooms are comfy and airy. The perfect place for social distancing, too! There are just 5 rooms for guests so you can spend your entire vacation carefree, without interacting with other people. There's no street noise, just the birds chirping and the smell of flowers and trees, rain and grass. A really peaceful and balmy place for those in search of an oasis during these times.
