Awesome climbs. One of the best and most adventurous hiking I did in Romania. But you need to be physically strong and should not have fears of heights. So much fun

Easy-medium hiking trail

Very nice trails. Totally worth it. The loop takes about 4 hours to complete. Pay attention to announcements from the authorities regarding bears.

Amazing place, but difficult for beginners. Definitely need to be properly equipped to cross it. Its nicely prepared for visitors and the views are amazing.

Spectacular valley with lots of iron steps. Although relatively easy to climb, it has its challenges when the valley has high water.

Very beautiful hike which keeps you entertained for the whole route! You will follow the river, climb the iron ladders and get lots of fun, definitely recommended!
And if you are lucky (or not) you can spot some bears alongside the road.

This is one of the most interactive trail in Romania. It' easy to get there and it's safe.

Beautiful and extremely interesting hike! Not sure if we made a wrong turn somewhere, but ended up going by road in the end

Cool hike that felt like a real-life obstacle course. It wasn’t crowded at all—we were the only ones on the trail! We weren’t sure where to park at first, so I recommend doing a loop: Park at the dam, hike down the road to the trailhead, and then hike along the trail back toward the dam.

Amazingly beautiful path and very interesting!
I particularly enjoyed the first part, the challenge of stepping only on iron bars, above water, holding on to an iron cable, the stairs, the nature, the colours.... Wonderful!
Not physically challenging, but difficult if you have freight of heights.
After a couple of hours, once you reach Nun's Glade (Poiana Călugărița), I recommend to go back if you wish to stay in the wild longer, as the rest of the path is actually a normal road.
Not at all challenging, but very long (2-3h from the Nun's Glade) and a bit boring since you only walk on the road. But beautiful too :)

Very Beautiful hike! But it involves some climbing, hanging onto metal ropes and climbing up several metal ladders. Not being afraid of heights is mandatory. You start on the river, and follow it, you will have to cross it repeatedly, so wear good boots, because you have to tiptoe over slippery rocks to do so. The way eventually leads into a forest and goes steep uphill, and then back down on the other side to the lake. It took me about 4 hour to complete the hike. The way is marked well. There is plenty of parking on the side of the road. Just don't go on Sunday it's very crowded!

Nice canyon track. Crampons recommended in the winter.
