Such a beautiful and calm place. I found this resort by accident while looking for museums of the civil war. It cost $2.50 per person to enter the premises. Parking is cheap. They have a building where they teach the story of what happened and a memorial. I was very surprised to have found my surname all over the walls from fallen victims of war. The staff are very kind and respectful, they are made up of youth and war veterans. It's a community of survivors who have come together to make a safe place to enjoy yourself and never forget their history. They have cabin where you can stay the night for around $20. They have a restaurant with delicious affordable food, the price was under 5 dollars, chicken being the most affordable for about $3.50. The beers are 1 or $1.25 domestic. Around $2 for imported. Refreshments are very affordable. There is a river and there are two pools and a sprinkler grounds for the kids. Rentals like chairs, hammocks, kiosko/gazebo are very affordable. Honestly a hidden gem, not crowded at all. They do not get many guest during the week allowing you to have all the space that you need. The grounds are very clean, staff are constantly cleaning and reviving the place. Firearms are not allowed on premises, honestly it's very safe and there is no need for you to be armed. Even the surrounding areas are safe, from the town San Jose Las Flores to the border with Honduras. I had a great time and will be returning Lord willing.

A great place for camping or a one day visit. Simply loved it.

It is a good place to spend time with friends, colleagues, family, etc. the price is quite accessible $2.00, it has ample space to walk, it has different pools. I recommend it, the only thing I can say is that the price of the food is a bit high, the rest is a nice and clean place. one thing to take into account is the distance in which it is located, and the heat is unbearable ⭐

Es un lugar muy familiar, Limpio y se puede ir al río cómodamente, la comida es cómoda y rica, recomiendo mucho este lugar

Se puede llegar en vehículo bajo, se paga ingreso y parqueo. Hay dos comedores buenos uno al ingresar y otro a la orilla del río. Recomendado.

Me pareció un lugar muy bonito, bastante seguro y limpio. Me quedé a acampar a la orilla del río y lo disfrute sin duda un lugar que recomiendo visitar la carretera esta bastante bien muchas curvas y pendientes pero se llega.
