I ate here twice as a guest and wasn’t staying at the hotel.

It’s tucked away in a really quiet part of Koh Lanta and we were so pleased to find it as our hotels food wasn’t satisfactory.

It is my third trip to Thailand and it was so nice to find some food that had a more authentic Thai taste.

I would recommend dining around sunset, watching the sun set over the sea in a pink/purple sky and then enjoying the views, wildlife (geckos, crabs and hermit crabs). They have decorated it beautifully with bamboo light designs.

The hotel and pool looks lovely! If we stay in Koh Lanta again we will try there! Also the staff were really friendly and polite. The food came out quickly.

A couple of things to mention…..
Wear bug spray. The insects were out in full force.
We sat on the beach and the ocean breeze wasn’t strong enough to keep us cool and we didn’t see any fans inside.

Stayed a second time there and the experience was the same as 7 years ago. Top staff which is caring and available. Calm, quiet, relaxing. Dark wood decorations and furniture which probably helps you too. private beach with lots of beach wild life on it (crabs). Delicious restaurant way above the average of the island. All can be organized with the staff (scooters, trips etc...) I will be back and meanwhile will keep a great souvenir of the place

If you are here to make a decision, than definetely book this hotel. I didnt finish my stay here yet but I already want to write a review. The place is just perfect for nature lovers. Although it is very comfortable and stylish. Every detail is beautiful and thoughtful. Restaraunt at the beach looks amazing in the evening, water in the pool is cool (comparing to other hotels). Bungalows are authentic and cozy, each one has a hammock and balcony. They even give you metal water bottles to refill with water. The place has very conscious approach to resources. Breakfast has big variety of veggies/meat/eggs/ cereal and coffee is good. On the territory you can see: monkeys, crabs, jungle frogs, lizards 🦎 Bike is available for rent in the hotel for normal price.

Narima is 💖 dont miss it!

We had a wonderful, peaceful experience here. Beautiful private beach, caring and attentive staff. Lovely. Please just cut down the tree in the parking lot so another car doesn't get messed up from it! There wasn't enough parking the first night so we had to park in a bad parking space near a tree that ended up damaging our rental car. It wasn't a big deal because we had insurance but the staff told me other guests experienced the same problem with that tree. I normally wouldn't advocate cutting down a tree but it's a parking lot without enough space so it would be best to. Also more vegetarian/vegan options at breakfast and espresso drinks would be great! Besides that it was an amazing stay!

Narima is a wonderful place run by the loveliest team. It’s organized, pristine, quiet, and the food is absolutely delicious. The pool is awesome, as is the environmentally conscious attitude of the entire place. We came for four days but extended to a week. The front row bungalows are well worth the premium price.

This is an excellent place for families.

Rent the motorbikes to explore and make sure you spend an afternoon on Chak beach (the last beach going south before the national park); and carve out an evening for Lanta Old Town which has some semblance of authenticity with its artists and craftsmen.

We absolutely LOVED staying here for 6 nights in an Ocean Front bungalow. I have no idea what one of the previous reviewers was talking about when he said the staff were unfriendly! More likely the guests! The staff were actually one of the big highlights for us. They were always friendly and they went above and beyond in terms of looking after us. On the day we checked out we had an early morning ferry to catch so they arranged a breakfast pack for us and while we waited at reception for our pick up we were given freshly made coffee that we didn’t even ask for. They were a sensational team and I truly can’t rate them highly enough.
I read a review somewhere online for Narima and the reviewer said it wasn’t worth paying the extra to get an ocean front bungalow. That person was an idiot haha. If you can afford the extra few dollars it is 110% worth it. If you can ask for A11 bungalow, in my mind that is the best (see photos). We were in this one and while it is a bit of a walk from reception, you are at the end of the line of bungalows and you only have one Neighbour on one side and solid jungle on the other side with no bungalows behind you at all.
The bungalows themselves are much better in person than the pictures I saw online. They are kept pristine and have excellent air conditioning along with a ceiling fan. The shower is electric but the best one I’ve ever used and while the pressure isn’t massively strong, it gets hot enough to burn your bum! The bed is huge but quite hard so if you like a soft bed then you’ve been warned.
The location of the resort is also amazing. For us, it was a massive plus to be away from the hectic north. Down where Narima is it’s more wild with its of greenery, the best beaches and small little strips of shops and eateries. We rented a scooter direct from Narima and used it every day to visit beaches, restaurants etc. A short scoot south of Narima is an area with some amazing restaurants. If you like Thai food the best I’ve ever eaten is available from A La Carte. They have the most amazing BBQ but if you like your food spicy you’ll need to ask them for spicy. Also nearby is the amazing Phad Thai Rock & Roll and K.Himalaya for when you fancy some Indian food and the best naan I’ve eaten in ages!
My only knock on the Narima was more about the guests. When we were there, there were A LOT of families and young children but that has nothing to do with the hotel. We didn’t spend heaps of time during the day or night at the resort so it wasn’t a massive problem for us but I would have preferred a little less of the family atmosphere.
All in all I highly recommend this place.

We visited here in 2019 and when on koh lanta and had to come back. The deep flavours in the food are incredible. The location stunning. A private cove. Lovely staff and very relaxing vibe. A MUST VISIT! We recommend the mixed satay (their peanut sauce definitely the best we’ve had) and the green curry is amazing.

We fell in love with this place. Nicest staff who really love what they do. We traveled with two very small kids and felt so taken care off. Beautiful private small beach where you can collect sea shells and enjoy the magnificent sun set during dinner. Good breakfast and tidy bungalows in a jungle setting round up the stay. We will come back to this quite paradise. One more thing: the owners are very environmentally conscious eg. You get refillable bottles and filtered water during your stay instead of plastic bottles. They use solar power for lights in the restaurant etc. First time I saw these things in a resort in Thailand.

Fantastic place! It’s a small and secluded resort with a gorgeous private beach. The front row beach cabins are superb, all of them have full ocean view and the cabins are far enough apart so that you don’t see or hear your neighbors. Good aircon, comfortable beds. Enough beds on the beach and swimming pool. Last but not least: fantastic Thai food! I recommend the massaman curry. Don’t expect to be in the middle of a town, but other restaurants/ coffee places are within walking distance.

Really pleasant, friendly and definitely value for money! Quite location with a stunning private beach and a little beach bar/restaurant that opens every afternoon. The beach has beach loungers with fresh towels every day to take. Breakfast is simple but great. Location close by the national park. Will re-visite when possible in the future!

We have only been one night so far and it has been wonderful. Nui has been lovely helping us check in and she works so hard to take care of us all, Bear down at the beach restaurant is wonderful and sweet, Tom behind the bar has a magic touch with his cocktail mixing. Hats off to this hard working staff!

We got a bungalow in row c which doesn't offer a good view but it does offer a good price. The private beach is great. Don't bother renting snorkeling gear because there isn't a lot to see in the water. Staff was reasonablely friendly. Breakfast is included. The omelettes were really good, but the rest of the food was cold which was unexpected. Overall a great place to stay.

This is our favorite place in Thailand, period. You don't come for luxury or state of the art facilities, but you come for an atmosphere of pure bliss and peace. The most beautiful private beach with bar and restaurant and some of the best food in the southern part of Thailand.
Best of all; if you are a small children's family like us, this place is filled with familie with kids and my children didn't want to leave again. We spent three weeks there (!).

We loved our stay here. The bungalows were clean with huge balcony and hammocks. The staff were super friendly and the 3 pools flowing into each other whilst overlooking the beach were great! The Narima had its own private beach although a bit rocky and difficult to swim at low tide. They have motorbikes to rent and a beach bar/restaurant. All beautifully decorated. Great breakfasts! Bring mozzie repellant!!

Lots of kids here, very children friendly atmosphere (though there are some not so friendly steps). I can easily give 5 stars. Great massage on the beach for 400baht. Staff is super friendly. Breakfast is not amazing, but all right. Expect some mozzies on the terrace, but thats very common across the region.

Nice place to stay, friendly and helpful staff.
Been here at low season, very quiet place (that's what me and my wife were looking for) with nice food and beautiful views.
High ceilings in bungalow is a great advantage.
Service is not excessive and annoying (extra 5stars from me for this)
Proper size parking for your rental car.
Bottomline: totally worth it!

The Narima was a dream! We stayed in the C (farthest from the beach) row of bungalows and were very satisfied. You truly feel like you're in a private jungle-- orchids, lizards, hermit crabs abound.

The bungalow is mostly made of wood and grass. It includes a decent air conditioner and fan. The shower had a heater but quit working after a day or so. We encountered a few ants in our room, but nothing major. The porch includes a comfy hammock.

The continental breakfast is good-- mostly American food (French toast, poached eggs, fruit.) Eggs are also made to order. The only drawback is that the buffet is outside-- so ants will be a problem if you're a late snoozer.

The seaside bar and restaurant were amazing. Cocktails were made with fresh fruit and topped with orchids. The food was always hot and well-spiced. We had a hard time tearing ourselves away to eat somewhere else!

The manager, bartenders, waiters and waitresses were all very helpful and kind.

I recommend renting a scooter. These people are pretty trusting-- they literally hand you the keys and take your word for it that you know what you're doing. Returning the bike was easy-- they took the keys and said thanks! Didn't even check our gas tank afterwards.

I recommend this hotel to young travelers and couples. I do not recommend it for very small children or elderly individuals, or those with physical impairments; it's a little bit of a steep hike to your room and the beach is rocky.

Speaking of the beach: it's gorgeous! But to enjoy sandy, non-rocky beach time, I recommend riding your scooter southward and pulling off into a public beach area. You will most likely have the beach to yourself. The beach around the Narima is beautiful and swimmable-- but you need to mind the rocks.

All in all, we had a wonderful time and would do it all over again! Maybe we will.
