I thought this place was great! Obviously it is very basic, but it’s not like you’re there for the great room, or you would have purchased a more expensive bungalow. For what it costs, it was more than worth it. The experience was very good. Good food, nice staff, and the bungalow was very fun. We enjoyed it quite a bit. One of our favorite parts of the trip.

Beautiful spot in the national park with a couple of different options to stay. I had the floating capsule hotel. While it looked cool and had a great view and swim platform you did hear other guests walking along the planking bark and forth between the toilets and going for food to drinks. When it was quiet it was absolutely sublime. Food included and was very good and lots of it.

So beautiful. Nice place to visit. Water temperature is perfect for swim. 2500 baht per person include everything. Tour, accommodation, 3 meals and non alcohol drink. Private room but share bathroom. Very reasonable price. I will go back again

A friend and I booked the 3D2N package in end June (monsoon season) and had a lovely time. The hotel was extremely cosy and comfortable, with a pet cat and dog to boot! We had a great time just chilling at the dining area, overlooking the beautiful lake. Pla was an excellent receptionist and host. I am most grateful to them for their generosity and warmhearted hosting. I fell ill halfway through the trip and since we were out at the lake, the team very kindly prepared medication for me. The food is Thai and absolutely delicious, and we were spoiled with four dishes served for both lunch and dinner. Our favourites were their fish, fried chicken and vegetable broths.
The room was cosy, and although we only got electricity in the evening till early morning, there was a fan to keep us cool at night. And although there were insects in the room, the staff had helped take care of that for us. The weather also made it overall a really cool stay.
It either drizzled or rained 1/2 - 3/4 of the time we were there- so the temperature was cool. We did get some sun and when we did, it was hot! We had fun kayaking but missed a chance to swim because of the rain.
Above all, definitely recommend this place which has been said to be the best rafthouse on the lake. The graciousness and warmth offered is second to none, and the views are unmatched.

Phutawan Rafthouse is a magnificent resort on the Cheow Lon lake . The entire resorts floats on water . The capsule room is just too good to enjoy . The speed boat trips from there give you a surreal feel and you can enjoy a fairly rugged trek to Pakarang caves . Good and service is excellent . A beautiful Maldivian experience in Thailand at barely a small percentage of cost

Really enjoyed my stay here. Only negative was the late pick up on arrival, we were told to get to the pier at 11am but the boat wasn't ready to take us until 12:30pm. But they definitely made up for it on arrival. The food was impeccable and huge portions each meal. The package was great with 1 night, 3 meals, park entrance tickets, boat transport there and back, and two 1 hour + boat tours for just over 4000 baht (Covid-times pricing). The boat tours were great to Little Guilin and the surrounding areas of the resort, and one to see the morning mist and look for animals. Cute rooms, particularly the capsules. Free kayaks to rent, just a 200 baht deposit each per paddle (which is a lot, but you get it ba k if you don't lose it). Highly recommend would stay again.

Nice place to stay for a night. Enjoy sunset, sky full of stars and sounds of jungle in the morning. Nothing fancy but very friendly stuff

I was recieved the wonderful time here. There services are exellent. The views are stunning. You can cayaking and swimming in the lake. And they also provide the trail walking and boat trip. Highly recommend for whom looking for a stay at Ratchaprapha dam.

Really beautiful and we'll organized place. Staid here for 2 nights, which was too much. Drawbacks: no conditioner(of course, it's in the middle of nowhere), no inroom bathroom(again of course), the rooms became super hot during the day... Also the food is too fat...

They have their own fish farming. Catch n fry them for guests. Super fresh fish for meal 😋

Very calm and beautiful raft house. A lot of activities around the lake. Kayak, animal watching, caves, etc. The resort is very clean.

Lovely location, great staff understood dietary requirements and allergies. The Floating Huts were lovely.

Great value and the food was included. The meals were delicious. These raft houses were by far the coolest ones on the lake.

My first time here, such a beautiful place!!!!
There are many activities to do, you won’t be bored there !
P.s. Owner’s dogs are so much cute!

Highlight of my Thailand trip. Great value for money, and a wonderful place to relax for a few days. Can't rate it highly enough.
