Everything was great - the food was delicious and the people working there were friendly and welcoming.
The portions are huge, we ended up ordering too much.
The highlight was the seafood soup.
And it seems that the very spicy green curry is indeed very spicy :))

Very delicious Thai food with big portions. We came here twice during our stay on Koh Yao Yai and were super happy both times. The second time, the restaurant was completely packed.
We had multiple dishes from Pad Thai to Satay and Morning Glory. All tasted amazing.
Would definitely recommend this place.

Came here twice in one day as we rented a scooter while staying at Santhiya. The food was absolutely delicious. The best chicken satay we have EVER had. We also had the pad see ew, cashew chicken and sweet and sour chicken. All delicious. A special call out that we first arrived about 12:30pm hoping to have a quick drink but they didn’t open til 1pm. They were so lovely and opened early just for us. It then started to rain outside so they ran our scooter helmets inside so they wouldn’t get wet. Honestly they are just beautiful people. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Thai food at a very reasonable price with fantastic service!!

Yummy!! Best food on the island! This place came highly recommend so I had to check it out. The food is delicious! Even better than the food are the drinks. The staff are friendly and attentive. I like the unique atmosphere and the pet birds on display in the back of the restaurant singing to patrons.

I ordered: food - calamari and Pad Thai; drink - pina colada.

Food is really tasty- crispy prawns appetiser was a highlight
Also first place we’ve been where they play modern music!!!!! So refreshing after days of bad dance music/ cheesy 80s/90s

The terrace is super comfy, lots of fans and shade on a hot day

Great food, but unfortunately, however the waitresses were very friendly, we had to wait an hour or more for our food. It also did not come together. This is a shame as it does not reflect the attention they give to the food. Let’s hope this was ‘one of those nights’ where things just don’t work out.

Great dishes and desserts, fresh made. Good prices, service is amazing. Everything just perfect. Highly recommend.

An awesome restaurant in Koh Yao Yai - delicious food, big portions plated beautifully - definitely worth the price. Easy access from the road but peaceful and quiet.

We stopped for Dinner on a rainy day...
The food tasted great. The seafoodsoup we had for two people was amazing - probably one of the two best ones I ever had (the other one beeing in italy). They even adjusted the spices perfectly because my wife doesn't like hot dishes yet I do. Second course: The fish I had and my wifes Pad Thai we're great.
The service was close to perfection - it was better then in many 1-star-michelin restaurants I have been - which surprised me as I have to confess. They even took care of possible mosquitos with a Special smoke device and also gave us some complimentary lemon oil spray.
The ambience is clean and there are some animals (birds and turtles) you can watch from your seat. It has that Thai-pub-feeling combined with a little elegance.
This place ist truly "worth a stop!" in my opinion. So if you are on the island of Koh Yao Yai this reataurant is a must!

The seafood was fresh and crisp. 10
The chicken satay cooked to perfection. 10
The beef basil 🌿 was exceptional. 9

The red curry 10
Service 10+

So it was overall amazing and we ate here for two nights in the island.

We also booked the Hong Island tour here for 2.6k and this service was a 10. Pickup and drop off, private boat, lunch, fruits, coconut, great guides and tour.

Also on the first night we got to restaurant, it was dark and hot and late, the owner dropped us off back to our hotel. So kind❣

This restaurant alone is reason to visit the island ☝😀

Really good thai food. Really large portion, especially the pineapple one with chicken.

Best place in the area for scooter hire for sure. Tried a bunch of places, and this was the best value and the scooters were very new and in good new condition. The staff were extremely helpful and wanted to ensure I understand how to drive safely. You can immediately tell you are dealing with good people.

Very tasty seafood dishes, nice atmosphere, reasonable prices. Best of all we really appreciated the pick-up and return from our hotel nearby as we did not have our own transport. Cash-only place, good idea to reserve a table in advance.

This place is absolutely lovely especially when staying at the Koh Yao Yai Village resort. The lady working there helped us with everything during our stay on the island and for a much better price than the resort. We did our laundry trough her, we rented scooters here which are very nice and new, we booked a day trip with a long tail boat and we had such a nice day. Our boat captain and tour guide was Tao, he was so lovely and showed us all the small islands and customized the trip to our wishes which was visiting the less touristy island that are also great for snorkeling, he even took us to a small beach that we had all to ourselves. He also took us to all kinds of nice photo spots with very little to no tourists around.
The food is very nice and all the staff is always friendly, truly 5 star worthy!!!
