Konita Resto

So far we went here two days back to back for our dinner. The owner / staff is super friendy and will try to fulfill special requests like making a meal without meat since my wife is vegetarian.

Every meal we had was amazing and the smoothies are crazy good!! The best we had so far.

Food here is 😘👌 If you're staying in a hotel or resort on the island definitely make to effort to rent a scooter and pay this place a visit! It's the small local businesses that need your custom, not the big resorts. Just super tasty, well cooked food. We enjoyed every bite (we might have left the chili seasoning😂). Oh and the Rotis here are from another world, very very yummy.

Kanita Resto offered us a delightful alternative to the dining options within the Elixir resort. Conveniently situated just outside the resort premises, it's easily accessible even on rainy days, requiring minimal effort. They have considerably more affordable prices and the dishes were exceptionally good. We highly recommend the place.

Great place with amazing food. I recommend to try fresh fish and the roti with chocolate for dessert. We came here several times during our stay on island and never left disappointed. Lady who runs the place is super nice. What is surprising we also booked trip here for island hopping, which was cheaper than in our hotel and it was really awesome.

My husband and I went to Konita for dinner and loved our meal! Everything was absolutely delicious and fresh. The service was great too. Also, the restaurant was much less expensive than many of the other restaurants on the island. For an entire fried fish, noodle dish, rice and 2 smoothies we paid 455 baht. To give you some context, other restaurants we checked out were charging upwards of 300 baht for fish dishes, 90 for a single smoothie and upwards of 150 for single noodle and rice dishes.

Friendly and local owned. The food here is delicious and fresh! At least 2 to 3 time cheaper than the Hotel restaurant. The fried fish was amazing. We went back twice on our stay.

The beef stir-fried with garlic and the green stir-fried fish with black pepper were both delicious and reasonably priced. Excellent service and authentic Thai flavours. Highly recommend!”

So over 4 days on the island, we have tried the green curry, spring rolls, fried chicken with curry, battered prawns and about 5 other things I can't recall at the moment. Every single dish is incredible, value is great and the staff are super friendly.

Hands down, probably the best restaurant on the island.

Very good food and friendly staff. We ordered fried rice and beef garlic fry it was amazing... Just loved the hospitality of these PPL... Want to give more than 5 stars...

Seriously best food on Koh Yao Yai! Super fresh ingredients. The girl/family are very kind. Prices are reasonable. The restaurant looks clean and hygienic.

Too bad we just discovered it the day before we had to leave.

Btw you can also rent a scooter next to the restaurant. It's from the same family!

Great food and drink with reasonable price. One of the best mango shake I’ve ever had in Thailand. The staff were really friendly and even brought us mosquito spray. (Not so many mosquitoes there actually)

We had many delicious lunches and dinners here, as it was better and cheaper than the restaurant in our hotel.
Food, Fruit Shakes, Tea, Coffee and Rotis were all very tasty and the service was excellent.

We also rented our scooter here as it was right by our hotel. 200 Baht/Day and didn't even need to show our passports or leave a deposit.

Friendly family owned restaurant. Serves the best size fresh fruit juices on the island. While the portion of the food is on the little side, the quality and authenticity is there. Thai approved of the Thai food 😀.

Very good restaurant where we had an amazing lunch! The waiter asked us how spicy one food should be which was good because the result was just fine 🌶👍🏼 the mango and pineapple juices where delicious and for 60 Baht a reasonable price. We ordered rice (30 Baht) to our dishes and were perfectly happy after the lunch!

This is a great place for lunch or dinner - the people who work here are really lovely and the atmosphere is very chilled and relaxed - the pad see ew was excellent as was the penang curry

We LOVE this place - the owner is so kind and makes phenomenal, authentic Thai food. Be sure to ask for spicy if you like the heat - it was just right for us. Prices and portions are unbeatable, especially considering the nearby resort restaurants. We ended up having dinner both nights we were here because we enjoyed it so much, highly recommend coming even if you have to drive across the island to get here.

We came here almost every day to either have dinner or lunch while we stayed at Elixir resort .
The food is extremely fresh specially for the seafood and fish and very well prepared.

Very nice family as well, they offer other services such as Pick up transfer to the pier for 500THB .

They have motorbike rentals for 250THB to 500THB/day and no passport or deposit is needed !!

We also took one of the proposed tour with long tail boat for a more reasonable price than the hotel .

We definitely Recommend the place and the family . And we will come back if we are in the area.

Excellent food and very reasonably priced. Portions seem small but that's in line with lots of local places. Would recommend 3-4 dishes for two people. Really delicious juices and smoothies too.
