Koh Mak Divers

This was my first diving experience and i don't regret doing this with “koh mak divers”. Very professional and friendly. Taking the time to make you feel comfortable and safe, no stress and rush. My instructor “Steve” was amazing!

Also the vibe with the other divers/ snorkelers was great. The food and fruit during lunch was nice.

This family company is a pearl on the island and if you are in doubt.. just do it!

Such an incredible experience. Our instructor Shaun was amazing and so patient. He helped both of us overcome our initial fears of scuba diving such that we managed to get our open waters divers license thanks to him. All the staff are so lovely and welcoming that they make you feel like family. Highly recommended and will miss them all so much 🫶

The absolute loveliest diving shop. I started doing two fun dives here, and then continued to do my rescue divers course. I would highly recommend doing your dive courses here! The instructors are very professional and also loads of fun. The vibe is so different from big diving schools in big diving destinations, it’s way more personal. They really take their time to teach you and tailor the course to your needs.
I felt super safe and comfortable and learned so much!

Kind, professionell, handsome🔥, had a wonderful day, including meal, fresh fruits & water. Beautiful spots, saw many, many fish. The boat was an adorable typical thaiboat.

We have just completed our Open Water certification today with Koh Mak Divers and was absolutely blown away.

From the initial communication we had with Steve when we were home in Australia, everything was so well organised and coordinated. We were picked up and dropped off at our accommodation every day, we had the absolute best dive instructor Carl, and the entire team were like family and just so fun and wonderful.

I was initially super anxious as I had not dived before, but Carl was so patient and explained everything so thoroughly and carefully. Our course was intimate and Carl trained just the two of us. They focus on all the technical skills, and ensure that they check off all the requirements, and safety is absolutely paramount.

Could not have loved our experience any more. Thank you xxx

We joined Koh Mak Divers for scuba diving. It was an absolutely amazing experience. The crew was lovely, helpful and attentive. They explained everything very well, I felt completely safe with their guidance. The diving spots were stunning, I have never had such an amazing diving experience before. We had food on the boat which was great as well.
I 100% recommend Koh Mak Divers, it was one of the best activities on the island!

Amazing experience as a family of mixed experienced divers. There was something for all of us. Craig was our instructor and took the more experienced of us down for a great dive and put the newbies among us at complete ease. Fantastic experience! We went for the snorkeling tour and it was nothing short of amazing. Everything was very professional, they provide transport to and from your hotel, food and drinks on board, and most importantly they took us to great snorkeling spots (three in total) with nice coral and coral fish and plenty of time to take in the views (45mn-1h per spot). The crew is very friendly and knowledgeable, we'll definitely come back next time we're in the area!

Our family of four had a great snorkeling trip with Koh Mak Divers. Very professional outfit and friendly. Seamless pick up and drop off. Excellent snorkeling locations: much better than I expected. My two boys (7 and 9) are now snorkel addicts! I thought the price was very fair especially since lunch was included. Lunch was okay. I would highly recommend a snorkel adventure with them.

We did our Padi Open Water diver course here in October and are more than satisfied. It was our first time diving, but we felt safe and in good hands right from the start. A super great team, a great atmosphere, everyone was treated individually and we had a lot of fun. Our instructor Shaun was the best, we couldn't have wished for a better instructor. We had a lot of fun with him, thank you Shaun. The time on the boat is one of our favorite memories on the island. The food was also super tasty (there was even a vegetarian option) and there was fruit and water available the whole time. We were also picked up from our hotel for every dive and brought back again. We can only recommend Koh Mak divers to everyone and would go there again at any time.

Amazing Experience, Fully Recommended & Great Value.

Steve & Family run an outstanding operation not only welcoming and friendly but run with military precision and safety of guests paramount. We went with a days snorkelling at the national park - which was incredible value and really enjoyable - lunch, fruit, water included and various stops with plenty of colour in the ocean which were explained as to what might have a chance to see and also safety briefing at each.

All the team made time to chat with guests and can honestly say the best day and best dive shop ever used - it’s seems like a company that has a conscience, cares about the ocean and the impact we have on it, it’s customers experience and not just a mass tourism operation like many other outfits have become.

Fully Recommend! Take some time to chat with the team they are a genuine group of people and a pleasure to spend some time with. Thank you Steve & Co!

Koh Mak Divers or better Koh Mak Divers Family. Family run dive shop with great professional instructors. We did our PADI Open Water certification with Shaun from Malta…super patient and professional guy that has a knack for teaching. The rest of the crew are amazing and made this experience unforgettable.

We joined their snorkeling trip twice. First one was perfect: Water was calm and visibility great. Whole crew was nice and professional and they really knew what they are doing. At second trip nature wasn´t cooperating with us. There was heavy raining last night, followed by strong winds. We waited about an hour, then crew made a decision to cancel the trip. Of course nobody wasn´t really happy about that. I think that was a right move which showed professionalism to put everyone´s safety on first place. Overall, strong recommendation 5/5!
