(Note: This hotel is a 40 minute drive from Roiet airport. It is not in Roiet city. )
Nice modern, quiet hotel with large swimming pool, and a decent restaurant serving Western and Thai cuisine. The shaded beer garden is a relaxing place.

The Chic 101 is definitely a Home away from home.
Nice comfortable rooms with tidy foyer.
This is the best hotel in the North Eastern area of Thailand.
I appreciate the fact that the location of the Hotel is out of the hustle and bustle of the small town as Thailand works around the clock.
You need a coffee and toast to start your day and Chic 101 is making it in the foyer as you go. I will go nowhere else if I’m in the Selaphum area.
Been at Chic 101 since it opened its doors and the standard improved every time I returned.
I hope the management can make provision for the 6 nations Rugby and the World Cup live Sports in the Bar Restaurant area.
Sports are bringing people together.

Reasonable price, best in hotel in this area, maybe best hotel in Roi Et province. Nice reception area. Car park is close to lobby. Attentive staff. Accept credit card. Large pool with activity. Breakfast is not the best for everyone, but good for this price. Nice room and restroom. Everything is new.

Stayed here last year. Amazing service, best English from manager / owner even so far out from a main city! Basically was fluent in English so made everything easy. Very nice and modern. Free breakfast as well. Only complaint would be staff at the cafe at the front knowing better English, but the service is passable as you only need to point at what you want.

Stay at this hotel for 10 nights on ground floor double room with pool view can't fault the room nice, modern and cleaned everything day with fresh towel and you have a patio table and 2 chairs, sun lounger and parasol the only thing I would say is bring your own mug but you could ask at the coffee/restraurant which would deliver food to your room if you ask . All staff at the coffee/restraurant & hotel are brilliant even though there is a language barrier, but staff will do their best and you get there in the end with lots of smiles. Would recommend 👍👍👍

Well maintained place. Staff is really helpful. Most importantly rooms are very much comfortable and clean. Enjoyed my stay over there.

Great place to stay if you have to be in Roi Et or vicinity It’s a very curious place built in between and around a Thai uniform clothing garment factory. It was built a few years ago 2016 with funds from a “Thai Limited Partnership”. I wonder what they were thinking and why? Maybe they just need to “park” or use (invest) excess funds to avoid taxes. In any case it’s a good clean new hotel with a small water park. It’s fairly convenient to Roi Et city center. (About 30 minuets out of town) and close to a PTT sure has Station with a 7 -11 and other food shops and vendors. There is also a small Big C Market close by. Price is reasonable at around 600 to 900 baht a night and you can make reservations on Agoda.

1. After thoughts 2. Background information on the name, “Chic” and “101”. 1. I’ve added a few extra photos just to dispel any notions you might have that your in the city. The hotel is located square in the middle of thousands of acreage of rice fields. 2. You might have wondered about the name “Chic”. It comes from their garment factory. The name they apparently borrowed from the French which with they associate their clothing style. And now for the most interesting, in my humble opinion, fact. 101. The number 101 can be seen throughout Roi Et. Ever wonder why? Roi Et is the sound of the number 101 in Thai language. Briefly, 0= soon 1= nueng 2= song 3= San 4=si 5= ha 6=hok 7=Chet 8=paet or sounds like “bad” 9=kao 10= sip. The exception to this convention is for numbers ending in 1 between eleven and ninety-one which use the world “Et”. Next, the Thai word for 100 is Roi. Therefore, you pronounce 101 as Roi Et. This explains the frequent use of 101 in signage around Roi Et. It’s similar to Thai people who use the shorthand in text and chats of 555. In English we say LOL= Laughing our Loud. In Thai they write 555. For Ha, Ha, Ha. “Ha” is the sound for 5. I know, I know, probably more than you wanted to know. 555
