One of Pitsanulok's historic temples is Wat Nang Phaya. There is nothing wrong with the location, only my emotions. I was quite dismayed to see what they had done with it. The temple has a walkway surrounding it that is similar to the ones found in other temples. There are trash piles along the path rather than Buddha statues. Finding the ideal angle for your shot is really difficult inside the temple. There are numerous setting blocks outside that hide the lovely thing. I feel very down.

Exponentially less crowded than the neighboring temple with no difference in holiness. We’d love to encourage all the buddhists across the country to come visit here more. Your peace of mind will be redeemed, or even reconstructed.

Another long historical temple, not sure when it was built. One of the famous amulet/small Buddha image “Phra Nang Phaya” originated here. Located just beside Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat, nearby Nan river.

Simply beautiful, every bit as much as Wat Phra Si Rattana. Almost nobody there too, making for a calm contemplative experience.
