Bo Kluea Rock Salt Well

Saw the salt mine, very authentic and the shop owner right in front of the salt, can go in to see them prepare the salt. This place is a mountain village, so it's cool during summer too.
Tips: right behind the salt near the bamboo Bridge there is a salt scrub spa, nice to try but not the best of scrub massage though. 199baht for a foot dipping in fragrant water and salt scrub.
If you want to feed fish, you can buy fish food and lots of fish in the river.

Took me 2 hrs. frim Pua district and it was a good experience.

A nice place with small coffee shops. Small shops with things usually have the ovens lit so you can see how the salt is extracted in the old fashioned way. Now it was probably not running a little early in the season. incredibly beautiful roads from both Nan and pua. You can advantageously make a day trip from Nan here then Pua and back down to Nan.

Very interesting experience, been there in December, right before Christmas, I was the only western person there at that moment, I ask everything out and the people told me the history of that ancient 800 years old salt pound and how the salt is produced. Really interesting! It’s a must see stop, if you are driving from Pua to Nan.
