They’ve moved from their old spot by the lake in town to a spot at the foot of a forested hill. Be prepared to wait a while (saw a few tables came prepared with card games) as it seems the food is made from scratch. Fresh, quality ingredients. Food looks great and tastes delicious. Highly, highly recommend the Green Tea Salad.

Family owned business. Speak fluent English and are so kind and humble. All the food, the drinks, smoothies were all absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was so relaxing. I will definitely come again. I love to support locals and family businesses. The food was fresh and just perfect.

Comfortable eatery on outskirts of Mae Hong Son. International inspired, Thai and local Shan cuisine. Try the Shan meals as they are fabulous.

This place was so delicious that it could easily be among the best food we’ve had in Thailand. Especially since we ordered all vegetarian options.

The salsa was delicious. Don’t expect American corn chips to dip it in. This is all about the salsa itself. The vehicle for salsa are more like fried rice chips, and that doesn’t matter. It’s the salsa itself that wins life.

The Burmese Potatoes. Wow. The crunchy exterior mixed with the hot potato interior of something hash brown like. With a sweet dipping sauce that left us wanting for more.

The third dish we had was Burmese Green Tea Salad which was unusually scrumptious!

Heavenly Shan dishes cooked to perfection by the friendly staff. The portions are huge, so bring friends to share the meal with!

A lovely gem of a place. Delicious food and super friendly host. Has very cute puppy 🐶 Must order their signature potato n eggplant curry, it was the best vegetarian curry we’ve had in Thailand. Tom yum soup, omelet, potato cake tastes really good too! Plenty of parking outside. Definitely will return!

Please take the 30 minute walk or 6 minute drive! You won’t regret it! This place is outside of the main part of town, but so worth it. Open 7:30am-22:00 everyday, according to their menu. They also are open to modifying for vegetarian/vegan diets.

It’s family run and the entire family was so kind. They were able to provide recommendations as to their best sellers.
We got: Crispy Shan style poppadum's & homemade salsa, eggplant and potato curry, and the veggie burger. All very delicious. Would recommend all three dishes.

The seating was lovely, with cushions or benches as your options. & it’s affordable for the delicious food and a nice setting.
Also, a nice chill bar with live music just a minute away.

Wow a good restaurant. They serve many kinds of food. We tried the local Shan food dishes Beef Curry With Pineapple and Shan Chicken Cassrole With Potato. Super delicious and great experience. Highly recommendable.

We tried tea leaf salad, potato and eggplant curry, potato cakes, and banana pandan smoothie on our first night there, and we kept coming back every day after that. Very friendly service. Nang- the super nice owner, offered to drop us off in town after every meals. They have a cute little puppy name Bao who will greet you when you there. Must-try in Mae Hong Son.

Very interesting flavours from the usual sweet sour spicy Thai flavours. Food quality was excellent and dishes were made to order. The potato eggplant curry was really delicious, and spice level is alright for those who can’t really take spicy food. Charming little outpost. Would be happy to visit again. About a 5 minute tuk tuk ride (80 baht) from the city centre.

The food was delicious! We had the green tea leaf salad, eggplant and potato curry and pappadoms and salsa. Everything was very fresh and had amazing flavor. The staff were so nice to us as well.

Due to covid owner has to shift the restaurant in new place. So many different types of dishes available here. Every item is super tasty. Staffs are very polite and helpful. Parking space available. Don’t miss this restaurant just because its little outside of the main road. Definitely worth a visit here

We ate dinner here twice while in Mae Hong Son and enjoyed it both times. They have Thai, Burmese and western food on their menu. We found the service slow but the restaurant was full and our server warned us it would take some time for our meals. Waiting was not a problem as the atmosphere was very pleasant.

I stayed in Mae Hong Son 1 week and this place was my favourite restaurant. It's a little out of town, too far to walk but an easy cycle ride, well worth the effort. It serves various cuisines,pizza, pasta, burgers, Thai and Burmese/Shan. We ate from the Shan menu, it's a revelation, try the tea leaf salad, you won't be disappointed.

Came here on a whim as we were pretty famished, and we were not disappointed.

Ok, I had thought we were going to be next to a river as per the name, but there wasn't any body of water in sight. Despite that, the place still had its own charm. It was very clean and the service was impeccable. Very friendly hosts who spoke good English and could explain the menu. We over ordered but every dish was amazing.

You'll probably need your own tspt to get here as it'spretty secluded, but it's worth the journey.

The food is really good. We tried khao-soi and it is so delicious. There are also lots of other good dishes such as nutshew salad, burmese salad, vegetable curry and sweet & sour chicken. Everything cooked by restaurant are great.
Everybody in the restaurant are very kind. They offer us a free ride to Meahongson night street food from the restaurant. And the next day, when we call to order food, they deliver without charging delivery fee even our hotel is away from their restaurant around 2.5km.

We weren't expecting much as it was off of the main area and seemed out in the middle of a small neighborhood. But we walked in and we're surprised at a beautiful, chill dining area, and they greeted us and brought out menus. We got several different dishes and drinks, all of which were unique and amazing, and their own unique recipes. Definitely make sure to eat here when you're in the area!
