This floating market had very cheap vegetable which you can plant them such as morning glory, spring onion & cheap fruits such as mango, guava tangerine etc./ delicious local food such as Pad Thai with fresh shrimp, delicious Pork Satay, famous take away pork Panang, 1.30 hour boat trip which you pay THB60/head and Amulet market which cheap & bargaining prices. This market is not far from Bangkok. You can see the beautiful rice fields along the way. This market opens only weekend and holiday. I recommended this market because farmers sell their own fruits & vegetable. You can consult with these farmers.

Food paradise on the river. Which seem food court that you have to pick one you like and take to your table to share. Which good through that you may find many choices of food to try. Including fresh ingredients on side to bring back to your kitchen.

Atmosphere: Excellent outdoor with roof to cover with natural wind.

If you’re looking for a true floating market in Thailand this one won’t disappoint. Though not all vendors are on boats. There’s a large platform on floating pontoons where stalls cook lots of Thai food.

There are seating areas but very limited. It’s only open on the weekends so many locals come here to eat and shop. There are very little foreign tourists.

Not too far from Bangkok, you can see floating marketing and enjoy eating here, especially local food. It is not too crowded open on Saturday and Sunday only.

This is one of the best floating markets close to Bangkok. You can also take a slow boat trip on the river for 30 baht pp. Buy some food & drinks before you get on board.

We found a guest who could translate our eating wishes into Thai...Else it would have been difficult to get something to eat....very traditional market with mostly thai people. Great Market if you like this😀. Strange for us: leftovers from the meals are thrown into the water. At least thousands of fishes like it...

Nice market that seems to be unnoticed by tourists. Lots of great food. Boat ride options are limited, but definitely a recommended place to explore for market and river lovers. Nearby tree and ride cafe also worth a visit, for a very different kind of setting.

A big floating market where you can buy many items there. At the same time, there are many food stall you can eat among your family, your friends' meals. Highly recomnend for this place.

Lots of nice cheap Thai food and only an hour drive from Bangkok
