Kai Bae Viewpoint

Amazing and breathtaking views from this viewpoint and the rangers keep the grounds clean and organized. There may be some macaques there from time to time but I suggest to not feed them. There’s also a cafe on the premises in case you need a caffeine boost from riding all day.

Wonderful spot to watch the sunset, but I bet it’s beautiful in a daytime too. Very well maintained and taken care of.
Better drive here, because the walk/hike here during hot season is not easy)

Really nice viewpoint with free parking and toilets. You can get extensive view to other island close to Koh Chang. There is even a small café to chill with a coffee while enjoying the view. Highly recommend.

It is an amazing view point that overlooks the west so you can go there to see the sunset. There is a cute little cafe if you want to drink there as well. A lot of parking space for cars and motorbikes (free for motorbikes, unsure for cars). There is a toilet there as well. The viewpoint is large so it can fit a lot of people but the times I visited there, it was empty and quiet.

Amazing viewpoint of the island, the west coast with morning vibe is the best. In the evening with sunset also wow as well. Cafe shop with picture spotting area for the tourist. Sometime, monkeys will be in the area to welcome you. Let's go, to chill out there.

Excellent views from this (west side of the island) viewpoint. Enjoyed a coffee from the on-site coffee shop and took some nice photos from the newly renovated and expanded observation decks.

The most beautiful viewpoint on Koh Chang Island. It’s definitely worth the visit if you’re there. There’s a nice cafe next to the place making it worth the trip. The road there is quite bumpy and steep in case you suffer from carsickness

What a view! This is the first thing that comes to your mind, when arriving at the view point. You have a small kiosk there offering non-alcoholic drinks like hot or iced variants of coffee or juices, water and more. The staff is very polite and helpful. The area is well groomed and beautiful. Toilets are also available. When traveling around Koh Chang, make sure to stop here ☺

Great view. Very beautiful. Stunning! On a good day, great weather, the view is sensational. Just the view and just like in the photo or post card. Good facility provided with cafe, seating, parking, toilet. 👍👍 One of good view point spots in Thailand.

We stop by here many times and the best time of course is the sunset view from this viewpoint. You could get nice photos as it is not crowded as before. The parking is convenient. A must visit if you are in the island.

Very nice view of some of the islands off Koh Chang. There is a little Cafe here if one wants something to drink. There is a lot of construction right now, but I assume there will be even better pictures when they are done.

This viewpoint is one of the better ones on the island as there are few monkeys around. There is a cat that belongs to the cafe but it seems unlikely to disturb you (or indeed move for anything).

The cafe is around the price I would expect to pay for a straightforward drink such as an Americano (60 baht hot) or a latte (70 baht hot), all drinks are 10 baht more cold.

Very quiet when I visited and the tide was low so you can see the walking route out to the first island.

One of the best places to go if you are in Koh chang. The view is incredibly beautiful. You can see small islands.

From white sand beach area to Kai Bae viewpoint the road is wide and super smooth. Navigation is super simple, worth visiting.

Clean and beautiful area to watch the sunset above the sea. Just amazing to be here. Seat for a longer time and watch until the sunset totally. So peaceful feelings.
