Impressive cave. It is the largest cave in Thailand and ranks fourth in the world. There is no electrical lighting in the cave. You need to bring your own (a head flashlight can we rented from the guide).

Nice to see a natural limestone cave with its formations. Bring a powerful torchlight or you can rent one from the vendor. Will need to pay for a local guide to bring you into the cave.

PhuPhaPetch Cave is the largest cave in Thailand and is ranked as the world's 4th largest cave. Need a guide to walk you through with stories of different part of the cave.

To get into the cave, You have to climb up a small hill to crouch through a small entrance to get into this large cave. For me other than the nature made sculpture and strange shape of the rock The highlights in the cave are these 4 in the photos. I

I spent almost 2 hrs inside...which is much longer than what guide told us at the beginning that the cave tour will spend only 45minutes..how enjoyable we are in the cave..

Entrance fees for local 30baht

Excellent experience! 2+ hours to cover 1/4 of the cave. A guide who came along was too repetitive. We had to listen at least 10 times of the same information. But if you don't know Thai then it will be better. It was worth to visit the largest cave in Thailand.

Very big and interest cave in Thailand, from Pak Bara pier, it take about an hour drive to the cave.
You need to climb 300 steps of stair up to the mountain to the cave entrance, and 2-3 hours inside the cave.

the cave is huge! the biggest in Thailand and the 4th biggest cave in the world. Inside was amazing, different style of rock formations. The guide suggested to go there around 12pm so you will have enough time to see the whole area (including green light phenomenon) no public transportation but worth visiting!

Really a place to visit if you are visiting Satun apart from Koh Lipe. It takes about 5-10 minutes walking uphill to the entrance of the cave. Then, you will be spending about 1.5-2 hours inside the cave. It is worth visiting.

This is one of the largest and most beautiful cave I have ever visited. Its completely worth your time and money.Make sure to pay and get the guide with you at the entrance, he can show you things that you cannot spot, incase you go inside alone.

Now Google Maps has the right romanised spelling of the cave, I hope this place gets greater numbers of non-Thai visitors as it deserves such greater audience. It is an astounding place where you can get closer to ancient geology than anywhere else I have visited. My wife is Thai so obviously helped with translations but sometimes words were so unnecessary. About 400 step climb to the entrance. Headlamps to rent but not really needed to be honest. No pictures do it justice.
