Chainat Bird Park

This is another of Thailands hidden wonders. Great Park in Chai Nat with lots of well kept birds and displays. There are big roaming monitor lizards and geckos especially in the bird dome. Shame the water park is now closed but I guess it cost to much to maintain when the entrance fee is 90thb for 2 adults and 2 kids.

Not big, yet multiple zone park, efficiently comprising walking park, birds zoo, eggs museum, planetarium. Lovely, cosy, picturesque and knowledgeable, especially for children. They also have a water park which is currently closed, but I hope it will also reopen one day. By the front entrance, they also have small provincial tourist information centre. Food and snack stalls And a Cafe are also present.

Nice place to spend an hour or so.

With the minimal fee of 30 thb, what can you ask for? They do have lots of birds and iguanas .. and I really mean it! All of them are very well taken care of and in a great shape.

The aquarium has various fishes to see as well.

The park itself is very well-maintained considering it was built in 1983.

The toilet is pretty run down tho :(

For 100 baht adult entry this is great value. A lot to see and a fair walk around in the heat, so take refuge in the air conditioned bird egg museum.

Unfortunately the water park area is closed.

The park was educational and child-friendly. It is nice also for picnin and family bonding.

Very happy to meet many different species of birds. There are iguanas walking around, clean walkways, and lovely staff. Overall, everything is very good. Chainat is very nice.

Highlight: Beautiful peacocks roaming around freely in a large cage where visitors can enter the cage to observe these beautiful creatures.

Good park and well designed. Ticket prices is very cheap. Birds are well taken care.

30 baht per person, kids love it

Very Amazing for me. This place is a bird park but they have aquarium, water park and sky simulation in side. Service car is available and free for take a tour in every 15 minutes. You just pay only 30 THB for Thai and 100 THB if you are foreigner. Pay less but get big experiences.

Lot of fun for a whole day. So many attractions on one place - water park, birds, aquarium, water bicycles, egg museum etc.

Local bird park in Chainat. There are interested birds & fish. The weather is too hot but all animal is so cute.

This place is huge! Don’t miss the aquarium.

Nice big park not expensive and lots of birds and fish to look at.
Animals look in good condition and lots of iguanas wandering about or hanging out in trees.
There is a water park inside too where you pay an additional 30 baht

Must visit! Beautiful place, even if rather shabby. Birds are in good shape, not much people, amazing iguanas. Egg museum and aquarium Close at 5pm, so mind your time.

Full of interesting bird species and the aquatic part was fascinating!

Chai Nat Bird Park is a large bird sanctuary in Chai Nat Province, Thailand. It contains over 100 bird species living in simulated surroundings which match the natural habitat of the birds. Also, it has more than 60 cages of birds. The birds can be observed both in their simulated environment and in the cages. The two highlights of the park are the vast bird cage which is the largest aviary in Asia, and a freshwater fish aquarium

The park is located in Khao Tha Phra Sub-District, Mueng Chainat District, Thailand.

The Chai Nat Bird Park was built in 1983 and first covered an area of 19.76 acres. At present, the park has been developed and extended to be 98 acres. It has become a major attraction and is a source of tourism income for Chai Nat Province.

The main highlight of the park is the giant aviary that is the largest aviary in Asia. In addition, there are 63 cages of birds contain rare species such as Sarus Cranes, Green Peafowls, Eagles, Falcons, Hawks, and Ravens. Beside the birds, the park also has the Bird Egg Museum that contains many eggs from various species of birds found around the world. Aside from the aviary part, there are additional interesting sites to visit such as man-made waterfalls, wonderful gardens, a rabbit park, and a zoo. There are several wild animals present in the zoo such as Hog Deer, Elk Deer, and Mountain Goats. The other important highlight of the park is an aquarium which features several types of freshwater fish species found in Chao Phraya River.
