It feels surreal to be there. Very peaceful and beautiful views out on to the Mediterranean Sea.

There's no fanfare, as with many of Tunisia's sites.

Just got back a few days ago from a road trip around the country, so sadly not there to celebrate. If you're there on 7th April, get a Strawberry Daiquiri ready for Russ Cook and make a donation to the charities he's supporting! 👌

What an unbelievable human being! 👊😊

Came here to enjoy the weather and chill out after a long month of working. As I reclined on the beach, there was this hairy ginger bloke and about 300 people suddenly running towards me!!! I don’t know what on earth it was all about but i got out of there ASAP. Not gonna have another incident like the last one….

Easy to use local transportation. You need to start with taxi to local van and then Take taxi to the other side of bridge and take another van and the driver will drop you off road. 2km walk each way to the tip. Cost around 7 USD total. You need local cash! There are many vans to take. . Did the whole trip within first 5 hours upon arrival at airport. Worth the efforts! Free visit!

Cape Angela or Ras Ennghela, is a rocky cape in the Mediterranean Sea, Ras Angela is located at the northernmost rocky tip of the northern African continent, about half an hour from the city of Bizerte located in the governorate of Bizerte (delegation of Bizerte North) in Tunisia, about fifteen kilometers from the center of the city of Bizerte. It has been designated since 2014 as the northernmost point in Africa. A lighthouse in the immediate vicinity guides ships cruising offshore.

undeservedly too little is known about this cape, and unfortunately a lot of garbage in the area. the last part of the road is gravel but comfortable.

Very nice sea. Wonderful view. Clear and clean water.
Sand like sugar. 2km Difficult road to access. But worth it.

Wonderful place! Both rocky and sandy beach, plus the monument is beautiful and very well made. Was extremely windy when we were there. Also, there is only a rocky road to get out there, so an SUV or truck would probably be ideal, but I was in a sedan and it was able to make the trek.

Not much here, and that's what's great. No big tourist attractions to take away from the beauty and serenity. Very glad we came for s visit.

There is a bit of controversy over the exact location of the northernmost point in Africa. Traditionally, it was thought to be Cap Blanc to the north of Bizerte, but the point is now generally accepted to be Cap Angela, about 70 km to the west of Cap Blanc. To exacerbate the controversy, there are three smaller points within the area of Cap Angela, and they all extend north.

It would take an official survey to determine the exact point, but my best estimation is that the middle of the three points extends furthest north. That's what the coordinates on Google Maps show, and that's the way it appeared to me when I stood at all three points.

But then again, that coast is always being eroded by the sea, so the exact point is probably in constant flux.

Anyway, it's worth the trip in my opinion. It took us an hour and a half to drive from the medina in Tunis, and the last stretch of road is gravel, rock, and mud. But you don't need a 4x4 or anything; just go slowly. And bring your own water and snacks.

The place is essentially deserted, but there were a couple of fishermen hanging out in a shack, and we met a Tunisian kid spearfishing in the surf. Overall, a pretty awesome day!

This place is beautiful to see and had many breathtaking views. The drive to the location is also very scenic. A good time to visit is in September when it's not flooding with tourists.
It's also a good location for fishing or watching the sunset.

Classified as the NORTHERNMOST point on the African continent, it serves a nice scenic spot to enjoy a part of your day. There is a decent beach and a few areas to sit if you wanted to have lunch, and is a nice spot on a tourists list to visit while visiting Tunisia.
