Amazing experience! This place is very beautiful. In every corner you see its beauty. I enjoyed walking around this area, every place has a story. Especially the history behind it. Definitely needs to be put on your holiday list.

Visited in late January, so I imagine the place is a lot quieter than in the summer months. There is no queue to get in. Location is stunning and a must-see if visiting the region. The unique white cliffs and natural spa are unusual and very beautiful. You have to take your shoes off before walking in, and there are one or 2 slipper parts, so I wouldn't recommend running or walking too fast. Highly recommended.

This was an amazing experience. The water feel great however, I do wish there was more of it. I would recommend going in the springtime and not summer. Don’t forget to explore the ruins and bring your own stuff so you don’t have to pay for overpriced water and snacks. I also recommend you start your day early. There are multiple entrances and its very easy to get in from all sides.

Well worth a visit to this ancient site.might take you a bit of travel time. But the.mineral pools are extra. It's a large scale site so a fair bit of walking is required. The Mineral/salt pools are an amazing and scenic view of nature itself. But take extreme care, it's very slippery to walk on. And nice sunset caps it off.

This is definitely somewhere to experience. We came here in 2016, so great to visit again. Plenty to see, walk around ... and experience. Take a bathing costume - amazing ! Given its out of season, there were still a lot of tourists, but plenty of space to wander and get a good feel of this unique place.

It's an awe-inspiring experience! I would recommend this place to spend a day with your family or friends. We learned a lot of historical facts and enjoyed thermal baths, museums, and amphitheater. Luckily, we went there during winter, and all travertines were available. During the warm season, I suppose that the place would be very crowded and be prepared to pay triple price for food and coffee.

Excellent place. It looks like it's taken from fairy land. The hot springs are worth a visit. We visited the place in July, so all travertines weren't full of water. The water source is usually rainwater.
The cilor of the water is mainly due to the calcium oxalate crystals and other minerals

The opening hours here start at 6:30 in the morning. I recommend arriving before sunrise as it is incredibly beautiful. During the midday hours, the sun can be quite blinding, especially when it shines on the white areas of the mountains, almost blinding. Nonetheless, the scenery is unforgettable. Remember to bring sunglasses.

An amazing experience (minus the crowds). Walking with shoes is not allowed on the travertines, so please, don't try to cheat! As the effects of global warming reach these natural wonders' areas, more of the small pools are drying up and some sections are starting to chip off. Please, take care when you visit, so our generations can enjoy too... Enter from the bottom entrance and walk up to the top to experience the whole area! At the top, you can enjoy a museum and the Cleopatra pool - separate entrance with a few but so worth the experience! You can pick up your belongings for a small refundable fee. Highly recommend a late afternoon visit to watch the sunset. Amazing!

Beautiful and full of history . The pools were not as full as most pictures but that maybe because of time of year and little rain fall. The ruins are very interesting .
Wear good walking shoes and be aware you must be barefoot on the travertines ..

Amazing experience! A must-see during a Turkey visit. Walking up the cotton castle, you have to remove your shoes, and you can feel the water coming down the hill. Reaching the top, you have a giant Hierapolis antique city.

Now I understand why it is called as Cloud Fortress. The scenery of an ancient city in a mountain and the hot springs beside a fortress was magnificent. Because I had a tight time when I was visiting Hierapolis, I was traveling with minibus and visited two landmarks, the theater ruin and cloud fortress.

The theater ruin was splendid. It is enormous and was built on the peak of mountain. We can see the city ruins when we are going to the theater so we can reimagine how the people in the past lived.

The Cloud Fortress is in between the entrance and theater. We can see the castle is circled by white hot springs and Pamukkale town on below the canyon. It was prohibited to soak at the hot springs but we could go down for a walk. But be careful, the hot springs are slippery.

If you can stay in Pamukkale for a day or more, I recommend to go for a walk at the morning to explore all area of Hierapolis. Dive in yourself to be in the past of the city.

Not what it was. You may have seen pictures from the past. It has since lost its natural water flow. However saying that I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Absolutely beautiful.
The south gate currently opens at 0630. Go early before the crowds. We'll worth getting up early.

Extremely beautiful place, a wonder of the world. Unfortunately it's drying out and the climate change will do another victim...
Visit it while you still have something to see

Very impressive travertines on a beautiful salt mountain.
Some are still filled with water for tourists others are kept empty for preservation.
The amphitheatre is most impressive and complete.
Food and other amenities inside are overpriced including the souvenirs

We drove 3.5 hours to visit this place. Initially we were afraid that this place would not live up to our expectations, as the pictures looked so incredible. The site rents electric golf carts to make transport around this huge areal easier. There are also great swimming opportunities, in addition to all the sights. Highly recommended.

Nice palce especially after main season. If you go there on your own make it full day not to rush too much, finding a parking place may be an issue. On site there are many attractions, beside the terraces there are some ruins and famous Cleopatra's pool. Have fun!

The place is just magical! Beautiful views! The pics doesn't do justice to what we see with naked eyes! Went to pamukale with a day tour from Antalya, took us 3 hours to reach from Antalya.

Amazing miracle of the nature. You can’t see things like this on another place. Unique formations and water. The bottom in the water is clay and people often put it on their bodies. Our visit(on saturday) was so crowded we couldn’t get past each other. 700 turkish lira per person for entrance but first you have to wait around 30 minutes in the queue. I recommend visiting in the early hours of the day. It was boiling hot and even the winds were warm.
