Alot of fresh fishes for Sashimi. Crabs are at small to medium sized, do not expect alaskan king crab kind of legs to eat 🤣.

If you want cooked stuff, You can buy the fresh seafood and bring it to some other shops in the same area that cooks it for you

The lively market had all types of fresh produce and meats all around. There were numerous vendors selling seafood of divergent types. Since it was the weekend, people from all walks of life were there.

Not too touristy yet

Huge fish market selling all the seafood you could wish for. They have stalls selling fresh fish and crustaceans, dried fish products, sushi and sashimi, oysters and clams.

There are places to sit and eat fresh sashimi there as well as cooked food. There are also places selling drinks. Also I spotted a butchers as well.

Large place so well worth a visit. There are toilets and also a large car park next to the market with a footbridge.

If you like sashimi, this is a great place. 1000 NT for 6 pieces of high grade toro (close to kama). 350 NT for Sashimi Don. 200 for sashimi combo. 70NT for Taiwan beer.

Holy moly. This place is absolutely fantastic. It is the most expensive fish market I have ever seen. And, this includes the fish markets in Seattle and everywhere it is great.

There is a wonderful selection of fresh live shellfish and a great atmosphere of restaurant for fresh preparation and Great Asian flavors. I hardly recommend this to anyone looking for a wonderful local experience and a truly delicious meal.

Ate at a tuna specialty place here, had excellent quality fish and was an overall great experience. Quality was excellent and price was extremely reasonable, “Tseng” or 曾 (location 220 and 221).

I love this place! Parking is easy, huge parking lot right next door. Find the seafood you want to eat and just buy it! Got flower crab, soup, fried oysters, clams, fish, fish roe, 3 veggies and a sushi platter for $80 US dollars! Sooooo damn good.

We arrived there around 9am, few stalls were open. We talked to one of the seafood stall lady who spoke a bit of English, we asked her to recommend us a good sashimi stand. We paid 200NT for a box of sashimi, it was so fresh. The seafood price here is a great deal. I recommend to get there around 11am when all the shops are open.

Partners uncle took me there to get some seafood. Nice wide variety available. Probably one of the best seafood markets I have been to so far in the southern region of Taiwan.

A big fish market in Ping Tung, Taiwan. It is where the local residents buy their seafood. Lots of varieties, very fresh, cheap but good quality of foods.
When the tuna season comes, a lot of people go to this market to buy the tuna fish chunk by chunk.
There are also many restaurants around the market. They also go to the market to buy their raw materials for their customers.
Slow down pace and find a good bargain yourselves.
