Beinan Archaeological Site Park

Nice attraction and very informative. Covers a large area, so takes a while to walk around but peaceful surroundings.

Nice cultural site of the indigenous people that lived here years ago. the entire site is quite big and you can just relax and walk around. there is also a museum you can go in and the ticket is only 30 ntd. lots of parking and it's free. wasn't busy at all when I went on a weekday.

We still have some time to stay around Taidong so we tried to look near by place from train station. This place surprised me. Very great place to take you kids or dogs to run around and kill the energy! Highly recommended! No need to buy entry and here are some culture art center and architecture to see and the best part is the sit on the swing and do nothing, just enjoy the breeze!

This was really very interesting. I learnt a lot about the Indigenous people of the area, and was actually astonished by some of the things I learnt. That is always a good thing. $NTD30 to go into the museum, and worth it. Sad that there was no food and drink available (the cafe was shut tight) as I would have murdered a coffee. There a fair bit of walking involved, so bring sensible shoes.

Great museum and archaeological site on Taitung prehistoric settlements. Easy to understand and informative exhibits. There's a bridge that takes you to the moon monolith.

The entire park is lovely to walk around, and it's located conveniently next to the train station. There are also plenty of parking spaces. Great first stop to visit in Taitung to give you some historic background.

Amazing. Fun fact: Out of Taiwan 5 most valuable historical artifacts, 4 of them came from here. That tells you everything about how significant this site is.

Beautiful ground, clean washroom facilities, and great aboriginal structure displays. The swings are a hit with the children.

This is an must stop place if your either into humanity or archeological digs! Here is an site that dates back to 5,500 - 1,500 years back! Opened for your viewing pleasure! :) As for me someone thats into Anthropology this is an must!

園區傍山環境非常清幽，展示廳文物豐富非常具歷史價值，人員態度親和，讓人來到這裡非常放鬆舒服

這裡是個有坡度的大公園，北面還有一座小山，剛好擋住東北季風的吹襲，很適合夏天傍晚或不熱的時候遛小孩。

能看到國小社會課本提到的石棺、石梯。雖然人獸型玉玦移到了臺灣史前文化博物館了，但這裡的遊客中心有販售人獸形玉玦的鑰匙圈和同造型迴紋針，個人覺得很值得購買留念，也可以分享給國小高年級與國中生觀賞，以加深社會和歷史課的印象。
此外，展場外有原住民家屋外觀可供參觀，展場內有構樹樹皮布可供孩子們觸摸。

對於古跡有興趣的, 很值得一走, 進入史前人類留下的遺跡, 想像石器時代的人類, 如何生活, 如何補獵, 如何使用石器製作武器, 存物, 造屋.....等等. 包含葬禮的方式, 都是現代人無法體會的生活.
