Rusumo Falls

Beautiful 😍 right on the border of Tanzania and Rwanda you do not even have to go through immigration

It is a beautiful place, its scenery is attractive, natural waterfalls are interesting to watch. There are interesting creatures, like monkeys and apes.

It is a boader town between Rwanda and Tanzania. Nice view from top side of the hill toward to bridge and river. From the bridge you can see the violent of Rusumo Falls. Normally you can see some baboons on the bridge.

This magnificent falls will no longer be the same when part of the water will be diverted into the hydro power plant under construction in Rusumo.

When the sun shine its more beautiful to look in water you get something like Rainbow. Its wondefull place to visit if you love nature

Rusumo Falls is a waterfall located on the Kagera river on the border between Rwanda and Tanzania, part of the most distant headwaters of the river Nile. The falls are approximately 15 m (49 ft) high and 40 m (130 ft) wide and have formed on Precambrian schists and quartzophyllites.

Although the falls themselves are not of significant height in comparison to other waterfalls, they have played an important part in the history of Rwanda because they form the only bridging point on the river in that area.

Breathtaking view, green. It is a must stop when crossing the border. Just park your car at the right place so that you don't have problems with boarder police and enjoy the view.

A beautiful and attractive place to visit, there you will enjoy looking a downfall of water on the vertically raised rocks that's creates a waterfall of about 30 feet down, abundant and very coolest moment when you are in the place, monkeys are playing adding up the sweetest moment of being there. I urge you to visit it before being destroyed by the engineers who are constructing HEP on the place

This is beautiful and worth a dedicated visit. Usually you pass this when crossing between Rwanda and Tanzania. Also this place is historic since it was the main border when Rwandans tried to escape the country during the 1994 Rwanda Genocide.
