Great place to stay and enjoy local culture and charming hospitality. They were closed for the season but when they saw me biking, they took me in and made sure I had food and water and a nice spot for the night.

Magnificent place run by magnificent locals. Feels like you are one with the nature. Surrounded by true wild life but feeling so safe with the guides. So many available activities that contribute economically to the local Masai community. Plus the chef is great and take cares of all the meals with love. Great experience!

Beautiful place, amazing tents, staff very friendly and the best warm outdoor shower I’ve ever had in my life with a view over the savannah! Perfect for relaxing, hiking, playing games.

An amazingly quiet place in the middle of nature, we woke up with the sound of the birds and felt like home thanks to the very helpful and friendly staff. Camel riding in the areas around the camp was much fun and the sunrise behind Mount Kilimanjaro definitely worth getting up early ;) What a nice getaway for a weekend from Arusha.
We will come back soon :)

A special location to feel real Maasai atmosphere. Listen to old Maasai telling stories around the fire or shop at the production site of Natural Maasai Leather center. Run fast at August 15 km Mkurun race to the top of the mountain!

About Arusha National Park
National park in Tanzania

Arusha National Park covers Mount Meru, a prominent volcano with an elevation of 4566 m, in the Arusha Region of north eastern Tanzania. The park is small but varied with spectacular landscapes in three distinct areas. In the west, the Meru Crater funnels the Jekukumia River; the peak of Mount Meru lies on its rim. Ngurdoto Crater in the south-east is grassland. The shallow alkaline Momella Lakes in the north-east have varying algal colours and are known for their wading birds. source
